With the development of our socialist market economy,the reform of the economic system and political restructuring,how to promote the modernization of tax administration to adapt to it become an important issue.Tax service is an important part of modernization of tax administration.During the daily work in the Taxation Bureau,tax service is the most important part and closely associated with taxpayers.However,there is still a big gap in tax service between China and the other developed countries.Business Process Reengineering(BPR)is an effective approach to solve this problem.Tax Service Bureau is the biggest frontier of tax service,and more than 95% of tax-related business processes are initiated from here.The quality of tax service in Tax Service Bureau shows the quality of the whole tax service.optimizing service of tax service bureau must bring taxpayers most intuitive and impressive satisfaction experience.The purpose of this paper is to study the process reengineering of tax service,serve people through the new tax process design and reengineering,build a harmonious relationship with taxpayers,and establish the idea of service for them.This paper based on the theory of BPR and its value in tax service,to disclose the problems and difficulties of the tax service in Tax Service Bureau of Jingdezhen city mainly including increase of work,long waiting time,unreasonable setting and the increase of error rates,and then to analyze the root cause of the problems including the new operation system and taxation reformation leading to the efficiency reduction,understaffing efficiency,unreasonable department settings,poor performance of duties and tax informationization unfitting tax service.And in the end,it assumes the goals,design ideas and principles of tax service based on BPR theory,and the specific design of efficiency improvement scheme...
