Survey Report On The Development Of Corn Seed Industry In Hui Autonomous Prefecture Of Changji

Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture is one of the bases of stable development of maize hybrids in Northwest China,the corn seed production area of the largest reached 34650 hectare,the single yield has been reached 6500 kilogram pre hectare between 2011 to 2015.Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture's particularly geographical location and climate are very Suitable for cultivation of corn.This paper takes the corn seed industry value chain as the research clue,the current problems faced by maize seed industry in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture and describes the status quo of Variety breeding,seed industry supervision,corn seed production,corn seed processing,enterprise seed sales and after-sales service of Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture corn seed industry through access to information and questionnaire survey.The research shows that the development of corn seed industry in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture is faced the problems of the Lack of extension workers and Single Promotion Means,the low profitability of seed enterprises,the lack of supervision of seed management department,Low levels of ability and cultural quality of professional and technical personnel of enterprises and so on.For speed up the development of Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture corn seed industry put forward the countermeasures and suggestions:In terms of the breed breeding,increasing the promotion efforts,building resources exchange platform to support the cooperation of enterprises and agricultural research institutes;In terms of the development of seed enterprises,completing enterprises integration to improvement of polarization,operations from small and scattered regional self-sufficiency to the full range of market competition enterprises to enhance the enterprise's anti-risk and resilience,and constantly improve the after-sales service system,establish a strong brand image of the seed business;In the seed industry supervision,Construction of grass-regulatory agency personnel and improving the safety management mechanism of seed,Using these countermeasures and suggestions promote the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture industrial chain of organic integration and orderly development,and provide a reference decision-making to the relevant departments.
