Driven by the background of rapid urbanization,the structure of rural farmers has undergone tremendous changes,and farmers' livelihood strategies have gradually turned toward non-agriculturalization.Farmers are the most basic units in rural areas.The adjustment of their livelihood capital and livelihood strategies will directly affect the utilization level of agricultural land.Under the premise of realizing the sustainable development of farmers' livelihoods,it is necessary to ensure the standardization and rationality of land use.It is a hot issue studied by scholars.The proposal of rural revitalization strategy and the further advancement of poverty alleviation work have clarified the importance of rural development.How to achieve agricultural modernization and sustainable development of farmers' livelihood has attracted great attention from the academic community.This paper takes the state-level poverty-stricken county of Heshun County,Shanxi Province as the research area.Based on the sustainable analysis framework and farmer behavior theory,the individual's livelihood capital,livelihood strategy and land use are the main points of research,and the statistical analysis is based on the field questionnaire and investigation.A systematic study on the relationship between farmers' livelihoods and land use in the study area,and concluded that:(1)The pure agricultural household in the study area is the least,non-agricultural and farmer households are the most;the households have different living capital values,the highest is financial capital value,the second is social capital,the physical capital and natural capital are in the middle,and the human capital is the lowest.The livelihood capital of the four types of farmers' livelihood strategies is from non-agricultural with famer to non-agricultural,famer with non-agricultural,pure agricultural household.The land use levels of different livelihood strategy types are different.Compared with pure farmers and non-farmers,the two types of concurrent farmers have significant advantages in land production scale,land input level and output level.(2)The impact of livelihood capital on the choice of livelihood strategy is different.Human capital can promote the choice of part-time livelihood and non-agricultural livelihood strategies;natural capital can promote the choice of non-agricultural livelihood strategies;material capital can promote the choice of famer with non-agricultural livelihood strategies;financial capital has a positive effect on the choice of non-agricultural with famer livelihood strategy;social capital has no obvious effect on the promotion of each type of livelihood strategy.In the process of transforming farmers' livelihood from pure agricultural to part-time livelihood and non-agricultural livelihood strategies,the promotion of physical capital and financial capital is in a prominent position.(3)Farmers' livelihood capital with the different livelihood strategy type has large differences in land use.For pure farmers,the main factors affecting their land use are human capital and physical capital;for famer with non-agricultural,the main factors affecting their land use are human capital,physical capital and social capital;for non-agricultural with famer,land use is mainly natural capital and financial capital;for non-farmers,the main factor affecting their land use is financial capital.Therefore,the balanced development of human capital,natural capital,physical capital,social capital and financial capital can realize the diversification of farmers' livelihoods and promote the steady rise of the regional economy.
