The Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Contract Agricultural Management Model In Lianping County

Lianping County is located in the northern part of Guangdong Province in China.It is rich in resources and suitable for planting crops throughout the year.The economic development is relatively slow,and the main industries under its jurisdiction are agroforestry and primary processing industries.In recent years,Lianping’s agriculture has mainly been the cultivation of traditional rice.Under the background of the government’s vigorous promotion of new agricultural development,some townships have planted special agricultural products such as peaches,sugar cane,and vegetables.With the development of the agricultural economy,the problems in Lianping’s agriculture mainly include: the farmers’ cultivation technology is backward,most of the farmers’ cultivation of rice and other crops is mainly by hand,and little production is used for modern science and technology.The area of family cultivation is small,and the harvest is low;Due to market and transportation restrictions,there is no local demand for large,large-scale agricultural products,and most household cultivation is self-sufficient.The current situation of agriculture in the county is generally extensive management,low per capita output,and low quality.In this paper,the contract agricultural business model commonly used in Lianping County in recent years has been used as the research object.Analysis of "company + farmer","company + farmer + cooperative" and "company +farmer +base" contract business model.By means of questionnaire survey,combined with literature research and case study,it is concluded that the contract mode of agricultural management has the phenomenon that the contract performance rate is not high and the farmers ’interests are not guaranteed.These phenomena are mainly due to the fact that the contract is not binding,the market position is not fully equivalent,the production individual is extensive,and there is no organization.According to the advanced experience of China’s agricultural development,combined with the reality and market of Lianping,the author believes that Lianping County can better promote the development of the agricultural economy byestablishing mechanisms that effectively constrain companies and farmers,such as the establishment of stock cooperation organizations.The joint-stock cooperative organizations can strengthen the organization and management of farmers’ households and stimulate the enthusiasm of farmers’ production.In the joint stock cooperation organizations,the benefits distribution between companies and farmers can be made up to a certain extent,which is conducive to setting up a mechanism for the distribution of benefits.It will strengthen the cooperative relationship between the company and the farmer,and benefit the common development of the company and the farmer.
