Study On Land Use Performance Evaluation In Rural Tourism Development

Rural tourism is an important growth force of rural economy and plays an important role in promoting agricultural supply-side reform,increasing farmers’ employment,promoting targeted poverty alleviation and building beautiful villages.However,in the process of rural tourism development,there are problems such as unbalanced supply and demand of land resources,unreasonable land use structure,low land use efficiency,land pollution and land degradation,which seriously hinder the development of rural tourism.Therefore,this study aims to realize the overall grasp of the current situation of rural tourism land use through performance evaluation,so as to promote the optimization and improvement of rural tourism land use structure and the sustainable development of rural tourism.Based on the basic theories of rural tourism and land science,this study has constructed a preliminary land use performance evaluation index system for rural tourism,modified and improved the preliminary index system by Delphi method,and determined the final index system.The index system takes the rural tourism land use performance as the target,and is constructed by selecting 24 indicators from four aspects: resource input,land use structure,land use degree and land use efficiency.In this paper,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to determine the index weight,the linear function of the comprehensive evaluation of rural tourism land use is constructed,and the evaluation standard of rural tourism land use performance is determined.Taking Chongkan Town in Tongnan District of Chongqing as an example,this study collects the data of empirical research destinations by consulting statistical yearbooks and government bulletins,questionnaires and visiting surveys,and standardizes the data by extreme standardization method.According to the results of performance evaluation,the land use performance of rural tourism in Chongkan town shows an overall upward trend,but the indicators of resource input,land use degree and community residents’ satisfaction and participation degree show irregular changes.Combined with the evaluation criteria,the study analyzed the comprehensive performance of rural tourism land use in the empirical research destinations,and found that the causes of irregular changes were closely related to the proportion of resource input,land use efficiency,and the contradiction between enterprises and community residents.The empirical results show that the performance evaluation index system,performance evaluation function and performance evaluation standard of rural tourismland use are all have scientific rationality.On this basis,combined with the status quo of rural tourism land use in China,aiming at promoting the sustainable development of rural tourism,this paper proposes four Suggestions to improve the comprehensive performance of rural tourism land use from the perspectives of the government,enterprises and community residents.The results show that the land use performance evaluation index system of rural tourism constructed by Delphi method can not only comprehensively evaluate the land use performance of rural tourism,but also control the land use status of rural tourism destinations.It can reflect the underlying causes of many land problems in the process of rural tourism development,and plays an important role in optimizing the allocation of land resources and promoting the sustainable development of rural tourism.
