Research On The Development Of Russia's Service Trade

Trade in services in the world is developing rapidly and has already outpaced the growth rate of trade in goods.Scientific and technical progress is one of the circumstances changing not only the place of services in the economy,but also the traditional view of this sphere in the economy.Services today are high-tech industries using the latest information technology.Despite the fact that in some countries the service sector is still in a lower position in the economy,and in some countries the service sector occupies a leading position in the economy,the role of services in the global economy is showing a rapid growth trend.Trade in services in Russia began to develop quite early.After the collapse of the Soviet Union,the Russian government has begun to pay more attention to the development of trade in services.This paper analyzes the current state of service trade development,the structure of service trade in Russia,and introduces the development status of the main service trade industry in Russia.In addition,described the advantages and disadvantages of the service trade competitiveness in Russia.Then,the international market share of service trade,the service trade openness index and the international trade competitive advantage index were selected to analyze the overall service trade and the level of competitiveness of major service trade industries in Russia.At the end of the paper,the problems in the development of Russian trade in services were discovered by the above-mentioned situation: the development of Russian trade in services is uneven,the overall competitiveness of Russian trade in services is weak,and the structure of Russian trade in services is irrational.And the following policy recommendations are put forward in response to the above situation:establish and improve the legal system,the government should increase policy support for trade in services,improve the structure of trade in services and improve the overall competitiveness of services.
