Transportation infrastructure,as the leading capital of the society, plays an important role in the economic development of the country and the region and the growth of residents' income. However, the existing studies have insufficient explanatory power for the micro-functioning mechanism of the transportation infrastructure to increase residents' income.Due to the widespread existence of the externalities of the transportation infrastructure, the growth of the residents' income is not completely synchronized with the regional economic growth. Therefore, how to more accurately understand the impact mechanism of transport infrastructure on residents' income growth, and to grasp the types of facilities, beneficiary groups, and regional differences in the effect of residents' income growth, will become China's efficiency in improving transport infrastructure construction and increase residents'income.Important issues.Based on the review of residents income growth theory and transportation infrastructure related research, this paper builds a theoretical model of the impact mechanism of transportation infrastructure on residents' income growth from the aspects of productivity improvement mechanism, regional integration mechanism and space spillover mechanism. The analysis of the deepening of the division of labor and specialization brought about by the transport infrastructure, the reduction of transaction costs, the spread of knowledge, changes in the sharing of resources.and the polarization effect have led to the conduction path and microscopic process of changes in the level of residents, and clarified the construction of transportation infrastructure and residents. The intrinsic logic of income growth has a certain significance for enriching and expanding the infrastructure, income growth, and spatial spillover theories.Based on the analysis of the impact mechanism, from the perspective of spatial spillover, using the spatial econometric model,an empirical test of the effect of transport infrastructure on residents' income growth found that:The density of highway network has a more obvious effect on the increase of urban residents' income, and the railway network The contribution of density to rural residents' income growth is significantly higher than that of urban residents' income growth;the proportion of tertiary industry has a significant positive correlation with the growth of urban residents and rural residents, but its contribution to urban residents' income is higher than The income of rural residents;government intervention has a significant negative effect on the growth of urban residents' income and rural residents' income, and its impact on urban residents' income is significantly higher than that of rural residents;the impact of the level of opening to the outside world on the increase of household income is not exact. The level of opening up to the outside world has had an undetermined effect on the increase in residents'income. The subregional sample regression results show that there are significant regional differences in the effect of transport infrastructure and major control variables on household income growth.
