With the continuous development of regional commercial and trade companies,participating in more and more fierce competition in the retail industry,the number of supermarket suppliers is large and the quality is uneven.It is urgent for supplier management.The effective management of suppliers is a more effective,efficient and low-cost supply chain model for commercial and trade companies.This is reflected in the management of supplier types,relationships and quality by commercial and trade companies,in order to better meet the requirements of commercial and trade companies for commodity supply.Whether domestic and foreign research literature or commercial companies'supplier management practice cases,the focus of specific research on supplier management is mainly concentrated in a certain aspect or macro level,but for the integrated improvement of supplier management and specific business improvement involves less,it is difficult to find experience with practical reference value.Company A is a regional business company and the largest supermarket in the local area.In recent years,with the continuous development of the retail industry,many large supermarkets have been stationed in the local market,forcing Company A to change from the past expansion period to the adjustment period,and began to reflect on the problems and solutions of the company since its development.The fast opening of branch stores once increased the number of suppliers to nearly 500,and the quantity of goods supplied was large,but there were many quality problems,which caused disputes between companies and consumers.A company reflects on the problems of commodity supply,and obliges to think about how to strengthen the scientific management of suppliers.Based on the current situation of the company's commercial development and supplier management,it points out the problems existing in the management of suppliers,and then uses scientific methods to solve the problems pertinently,improve the basic quality of commodity supply,effectively control the company's supply cost and improve the quality of service.Based on the basic theories of supplier management,supply chain management and economic chain theory,value chain theory and supply chain strategy theory,this paper combines the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on supplier management,uses literature research method,field research method and case study method to analyze the current situation of supplier management in Company A,and deeply excavates and analyses all aspects of supplier management in company A.There are some problems,such as the lack of reasonable classification management of suppliers,the conflict between companies and suppliers,the unscientific selection of suppliers in supplier quality management,and the imperfect performance appraisal system of suppliers.Then,design the improvement scheme of supplier management of Company A,and put forward the optimization scheme of supplier classification,relationship management and quality management.Finally,in the specific improvement implementation plan,three steps are formulated:common strategic objectives,strengthening system construction and supervision,and improving process control.Through in-depth understanding of suppliers,strengthening the training of relevant personnel such as purchasing department and commodity department,supplier information management platform is built to smoothly promote the improvement of supplier management.Through the analysis of the expected effect of supplier management improvement in Company A,and through the comparison of the expected indicators,the deficiencies in the improvement are found.The innovation of this paper is that,starting from practical problems,combining theory with practice,taking Company A as an example,it analyses the current practice of supplier management,points out the existing problems of supplier management,and uses the scientific methods of classification management,relationship management and quality management to improve the design of supplier management scheme.In order to smoothly implement the improvement plan,make clear the implementation steps and guarantee measures,analyze the effect of the expected improvement,summarize the improvement experience,and point out the problems existing in the improvement.The study has certain practical guiding significance for the improvement of supplier management in company A in the future,and provides improvement ideas and reference for other supermarkets to improve supplier management efficiency.
