Research On The Evaluation Of Technological Innovation Ability Of GEM Companies

With the rapid development of economic globalization,Chinese enterprises are facing both significant opportunities and fierce competition brought about by the opportunities,and the competitive pressure is gradually increasing.Under the new normal,to promote China's economic transformation and upgrading and achieve sustainable economic and social development,we must change the way of development and strive to improve China's total factor productivity.The key to improving total factor productivity is innovation.As a listed company on the GEM,it has also assumed the responsibility of innovation throughout the country to a certain extent.GEM companies can no longer follow the low-cost development strategy that Chinese companies are accustomed to.Only by starting from the inside,only thinking and innovating,maintaining continuous technological innovation capabilities,and developing products with high added value can effectively respond to market-oriented strategic innovation..Based on relevant research literature at home and abroad,this paper constructs a set of R&D personnel from the perspective of technological innovation investment,technological innovation production and technological innovation output.The proportion of personnel above junior college,R&D intensity,machinery and equipment The technology innovation capability evaluation system,including equipment rate,machine equipment renewal rate,effective patent quantity,profit growth rate,and labor productivity,is based on 2017 data,and uses AHP to empower each indicator.The indicators are calculated according to different weights to obtain the scores of the technological innovation capabilities of the GEM companies.After deriving the scores of the technological innovation capabilities of each company,this paper focuses on key regions including the Pearl River Delta Economic Circle,the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle and the Western Economic Circle,some cities with higher economic development levels,and various industries within the GEM.Conduct a comparative analysis of technological innovation capabilities.Based on the results,the paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The strength of R&D,the number of valid patents,and the proportion of R&D personnel are key indicators that affect the development of GEM's technological innovation capabilities.(2)From the perspective of regional technological innovation,the Pearl River Delta has the strongest technological innovation,followed by the Yangtze River Delta and finally the Western Economic Circle.(3)There are significant differences in technological innovation capabilities between industries.(4)The technological innovation of GEM companies in Beijing,Shanghai,Shenzhen and Suzhou has their own characteristics:Beijing enterprises have an absolute advantage in the proportion of R&D personnel and R&D intensity,and Shenzhen has the most prominent patents.On this basis,four suggestions are given:(1)To give policy support to the central and western regions.(2)Give priority to supporting industries with strong technological innovation.(3)Enterprises increase the intensity of R&D investment.(4)Improve the efficiency of innovation transformation.
