Research On The Influencing Factors Of City Convention And Exhibition Industry Competitiveness

The exhibition industry is a strategic emerging service industry.The development of the exhibition industry will help the city to enhance its' influence and promote the modernization of the city.However,the difference in the strength of exhibition resources in various cities presents an imbalance in the development of city exhibition industry.It may the government's blind construction of the museum leads to low utilization of the venue,or the city doesn't use the information technology to build an innovative industry development model.Based on the research on the theory of industrial competitiveness,this paper sorts out seven famous competitiveness models,explores the characteristics of urban exhibition industry competitiveness and its influencing factors,and divides the factors affecting the competitiveness of urban exhibition industry into core factors(Three categories of exhibition enterprises and technological innovation),basic factors(resource endowments)and industrial environmental factors(government support),theoretical analysis of various influencing factors,research hypotheses,and theoretical models for influencing factors of urban exhibition competitiveness;Small sample predictive variable measurement,form a formal survey questionnaire,process and analyze the data results,and draw the following conclusions on the factors affecting the competitiveness of urban exhibition industry: First,government support,exhibition enterprises,technological innovation and resource endowment are all on the city.The competitiveness of exhibitions has a positive impact.Second,government support can also influence the competitiveness of urban exhibition industry by affecting exhibition enterprises,technological innovation and resource endowments.Third,the overall development level of urban exhibition enterprises and service companies that assist city exhibition activities.Level,city exhibition venue High-level research team and professional personnel quality,the development of exhibition industry,government investment and other factors have a significant impact on industrial competitiveness convention city.This paper also conducts empirical analysis based on structural equation modeling analysis method,and puts forward six countermeasures to effectively improve the competitiveness of urban exhibition industry: enhancing government support,strengthening management of exhibition enterprises,focusing on training professionals in exhibitions,enhancing technological innovation capabilities,improve the industrial development resource system,establish brand awareness to create exhibition brand.
