In recent years,with the continuous improvement of the level of economy and technology,the world rail transit equipment industry has developed rapidly.As a convenient,fast and environmental friendly product,the railway vehicle is rapidly changing our trip mode.At present,the railway transportation equipment industry around the world is facing the historic developing opportunity,and CRRC CHANGCHUN RAILWAY VEHICLES CO.,LTD.(referred as CRRC-Changchun hereinafter),the leading enterprise in railway transportation equipment industry in China,is vigorously optimizing its overseas business arrangement and making relevant development strategies.On this basis,the leading ideology and top-level design for the enterprise's sustainable development is to recognize the strategies.As one of the most representative enterprises in railway transportation equipment manufacture industry in China,CRRC-Changchun always ranks the top level in its over sixty-year developing history due to the constant adherence and firm enforcement of the strategies.Also as a beautiful business card of equipment manufacture industry in China,CRRC-Changchun takes the leading role in practicing the “ Belt and Road Initiative” of the government.Confronting the opportunities and challenges resulting from China's overseas strategies and measures to China's railway transportation equipment manufacture industry,CRRC-Changchun should conform to the developing trend and follow up the pace of economic globalization.Seizing the opportunities,progressing with the trend,shouldering the responsibilities of leading the industry's development and rejuvenating the national industrial engineering.While acknowledging the internal and external circumstances,it is required to formulate the developing strategies for overseas market on the basis of the present conditions and the enterprise's capacity to fit the development target.Researching different overseas developing strategies and achievements from developing and advanced countries could provide reliable references for the overseas market development of other Chinese enterprises in railway transportation equipment industry,which in return would promote the overall international competing capacity of the Chinese railway equipment industry.In the face of challenges and opportunities,and from the perspective of the enterprise's developing requirement or even national strategy,CRRC-Changchun should firmly seize the present opportunities,expand the overseas new market,and accelerate its strategic development in overseas market.This essay first explained the developing history of how CRRC-Changchun expanded its overseas market,introduced the three periods of CRRC-Changchun's overseas market expansion in details and then respectively analyzed the present conditions as well as the problems.Though the development of CRRC-Changchun is getting better and better,these are still certain gaps when compared with other competing enterprises in the same field.At last,based on the internal and external circumstances of CRRC-Changchun,the essay analyzed the advantages,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges,then formulated the developing strategies.CRRC-Changchun should put more effort into introducing and cultivating international talented personnel as well as strengthen the brand establishment and strategic alliance development.The successful merger and acquisition(M&A)of overseas enterprises is the development direction for CRRC-Changchun when expanding its overseas market.Finally,the main overseas market developing strategies of the enterprise are confirmed as Horizontal Integration Strategy and Market Development Strategy.And the enforcement of the two strategies could be generalized in details;they are: merging enterprises in target market,adapting different technical requirements in different market,promoting the enterprise brand,enhancing the enterprise human resources,etc.And on the basis above,this essay also raised some suggestions such as to increase the input in technical research and development,master the core technology,improve the self-innovation capacity,optimize the after-sale service system,strengthen the later-period operation and maintenance,take advantage of the unique features of the enterprise culture in CRRC-Changchun,acknowledge and weaken the differences with the local culture in overseas market,notice the culture fusion after strategy enforcement,etc.which could be used for reference for the overseas market expansion of CRRC-Changchun.
