Since China’s economy has entered a new normal development stage,it has shown the characteristics of economic downturn,slowdown in growth and increased risks.Innovation is the first driving force to solve problems and lead development.Under the severe and complicated reform situation,Liaoning’s economic transformation needs to focus on the new normal and actively play an innovative leadership role.As an important pillar of the economy of Liaoning Province,the equipment manufacturing industry should take innovation as the primary engine for the transformation and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry.Although equipment manufacturing enterprises in some parts of Liaoning Province have strong innovation capabilities,it is not enough for equipment manufacturing enterprises to carry out innovations within and outside the enterprise.It is necessary to have spatial links with other regional enterprises to drive equipment manufacturing in the surrounding areas.Development,and thus promote the improvement of the innovation capability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in the entire region.At present,the innovation ability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in various regions of Liaoning Province is relatively heterogeneous,and the spatial correlation is weak,and no good spatial correlation effect is formed.Based on this,this paper measures and analyzes the spatial correlation effect of the innovation capability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in Liaoning Province,and strives to promote the overall improvement of the innovation capability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in Liaoning by improving the spatial correlation effect of the innovation capability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in Liaoning Province.The transformation and upgrading of Liaoning’s industry has certain guiding significance.First of all,starting from the theory,this paper respectively introduces the composition of innovation capability of equipment manufacturing enterprises and the connotation of spatial correlation effect.It selects the indicators of spatial correlation of innovation capability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in Liaoning Province from three aspects of innovative talents,innovative technologies and innovative funds.Based on the principles of criticality,correlation and discrimination,the primary indicators are screened to determine the index system for final analysis.Secondly,this paper analyzes the global spatial correlation effect of Liaoning equipment manufacturing enterprises’ innovation capability,tests the spatial correlation of Liaoning equipment manufacturing enterprises’ innovation capability through Moran’s I index value to determine whether there is spatial correlation effect,and then measures and analyzes the global spatial correlation effect of innovative talents,innovative technology and innovative capital respectively by using spatial lag model to understand the spatial correlation of the indicators and the impact on the innovation capability of Liaoning equipment manufacturing enterprises.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the local spatial correlation effect of the innovation ability of equipment manufacturing enterprises in Liaoning Province.It determines the spatial correlation of the innovation ability of 14 cities in Liaoning Province by Lisa Scatter chart and analyzes the evolution and causes of the association types in each city.Based on the specific analysis,it draws the corresponding conclusions and puts forward policy recommendations.
