Yangtze River Economic Zone is one of the important supports for the steady growth of China's economy.In September 2016,China formally issued the Outline of the Yangtze River Economic Development Plan,clearly formulated the coordinated development mechanism,realized the optimal allocation of innovative resources,and improved the regional innovation performance.With the region to implement innovative drive the top priority.The relationship between industrial agglomeration and regional innovation has attracted much attention from domestic and foreign scholars,but it is still to be explored in the aspects of regional innovation measure,industrial agglomeration and regional innovation relationship and the choice of measurement method.(1)Research on the impact mechanism of industrial agglomeration on regional innovation is often only from the theoretical and empirical level to verify whether individual industry agglomeration has a significant impact on regional innovation performance or innovation ability,and can not effectively reveal the inherent mechanism of industrial agglomeration on regional innovation.(2)In the assessment of regional innovation,only the influence of regional factors on regional innovation is considered,and the influence of industrial agglomeration on regional innovation is rarely studied from the perspective of spatial correlation effect of innovative resource flow.(3)The regional economic system as an independent system,ignoring the regional economic ties.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the relationship between industrial agglomeration and regional innovation from the perspective of regional innovation resource flow.Based on the research methods of modern economics,such as literature analysis,normative analysis and empirical analysis,this paper systematically analyzes the influence mechanism of industrial agglomeration on regional innovation,and determines the theoretical framework of regional agglomeration on regional innovation based on spatial correlation effect.This paper first uses the super efficient DEA model to measure the efficiency of the two-stage regional innovation of the Yangtze River economic belt at the provincial level from 2006 to 2015,and uses the principal component analysis to measure the regional innovation capability of the Yangtze River Economic Zone in 2006-2015.Secondly,the gravitational model is used to measure the correlation degree between the two regions of the Yangtze River economic zone,and the spatial weight matrix of R & D personnel and the spatial weight matrix of R & D capital flow are constructed.Moran exponent is used to analyze the spatial self-association of regional innovation in Yangtze River(SEM)and spatial lag model(SLM)were used to carry out spatial econometric analysis of regional innovation and industrial agglomeration in the Yangtze River economic zone,and the spatial clustering model was selected.Finally,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the problems of regional agglomeration and regional innovation.The results show that the industrial agglomeration and regional innovation of the Yangtze River economic zone show significant spatial autocorrelation.The influence of industrial agglomeration on regional innovation is related to the nature of the industry.Spatial association is conducive to the flow of innovative elements among regions,optimizing the allocation of innovative resources Efficiency,resulting in knowledge spillovers and economies of scale,affecting regional innovation performance,but its impact is lower than the direct input of innovative resources.At the same time,it also puts forward the strategy of industrial agglomeration and the level of regional innovation,and provides some reference for improving the regional innovation level of the Yangtze River economic zone as a whole.
