Research On The Holistic Tourisit-oriented Development Strategies For Small Tourism Towns In Qiandongnan District

Since 2016,the "holistic tourism" vigorously promoted by the state has become an important opportunity to promote the development of small tourism towns and become a concept and model of promoting coordinated regional development and economic and social development through tourism.Tourism-oriented small towns refer to small towns with abundant tourism resources,which are in a pillar position in the industrial structure of cities and towns or can be cultivated as leading industries of cities and towns,and which combine urban construction with tourism development.Tourism-oriented small towns are an important type of small towns with Chinese characteristics.They have broad prospects for development because of adapting to the new concept of urbanization and tourism upgrading in the period of comprehensive deepening reform.Therefore,how to make tourism-oriented small towns seize the opportunity of global tourism,adapt to the development requirements of global tourism,and realize the overall urban-rural development and green development of tourism-oriented small towns in Qiandongnan district has become the subject of this study.At present,the problem of "insufficient imbalance" in urbanization development in China is mainly manifested in the relative lag of urbanization development in the western region.Located in the west of China,Qiandongnan district's economy started late,small towns were not large in scale,and the geographical conditions of "nine-mountains,semi-water and semi-farming" limited the social and economic development of traditional industrial urbanization.However,due to the rich and unique human history and natural resources in the region,it has gained a certain degree of national attention and even international fame in recent years.In the tide of holistic tourism era,Qiandongnan district is facing a good opportunity for rapid urbanization.Therefore,taking the tourism-oriented small towns in Qiandongnan district as the research object of this paper,there are not only the typicality and pertinence of resource endowment,but also the urgency and necessity of urban social development.Firstly,the paper defines the important concepts of global tourism and tourism-oriented small towns,collates the current research results and related theories as the theoretical research part of this paper.Secondly,through the study of holistic tourism theory and practice,this paper puts forward the interpretation of the connotation of global tourism from the perspective of urban and rural planning,and puts forward the development requirements based on spatial domain,industrial domain and factor domain.Thirdly,based on the research object's development status in tourism resources,economic development,social culture,natural ecology and urban construction and planning,the paper summarizes the problems in its development and analyzes the reasons.Fourthly,the paper put forward two development goals for Qiandongnan district: on the one hand,to achieve holistic tourism;on the other hand,to achieve the urban and rural development.This paper further distinguishes the basic types and development frameworks of tourismoriented small towns in Qiandongnan district,and puts forward nine comprehensive development strategies,namely,resource opening,spatial structure,tourism poverty alleviation,industrial integration,product system,business form enrichment,service facilities,ecological security and landscape features.Finally,taking Leishan County as an example,based on the reflection of the current situation and the study of the development goals,five key development strategies are put forward,which are "spatial reconstruction,tourism upgrading,rural poverty alleviation,integration of production and city,and integration of urban scenery",and implemented at the spatial level,which verifies the feasibility of the research results.This paper explores the development strategies of tourism-oriented small towns in Qiandongnan district under the guidance of holistic tourism,in order to provide useful inspiration for the development of tourism-oriented small towns in other underdeveloped areas.
