"The Belt and Road" initiated by China,as a brand new model of regional cooperation in opening up,is committed to building a mutually beneficial platform where countries can share their advantages and production capacity and explore ways of economic growth. This has not only met the needs of upgrading the domestic industrial structure, but also provided an opportunity to drive world economic growth, promote liberalization and facilitation of investment and trade, and improve economic globalization. As the traditional pillar industry of China, with the changes of domestic and international market environment and production cost conditions, the development of China's textile industry has entered a new normal stage of speed shift, power conversion and structural adjustment, and the textile industry has invested abroad. And trade development is also facing new challenges. How to use "the Belt and Road" development opportunities to promote China and the countries along "the Belt and Road" to achieve rapid development in textile economic and trade relations is the main research content of this paper.Based on relevant theories, this paper studies the investment and trade status of China's textile industry in the six economic corridors along "the Belt and Road".This research results show that bilateral trade volume has increased significantly since the"the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road" initiative was put forward in 2013,but it is also faced with problems such as insufficient enterprise capacity, potential investment risks caused by differences in political environment, trade concentration at the low end of the industrial chain, and over-concentration of development regions. This paper uses the static GTAP policy model to analyze the impact of tariff and non-tariff barriers reduction on the macroeconomic and textile sectors of China and countries along the routes. It is found that when the bilateral tariff is reduced to zero, the welfare and trade terms of most regions will be improved, and the positive effect will be produced on the industrial sectors in resource-advantageous regions. With the continuous reduction of technical barriers, the macro-economy of countries along the"the Belt and Road" shows positive effects, and the textile trade exchanges between the two sides become more frequent, while developed countries such as the United States,Japan and South Korea are obviously negatively affected. Therefore,in terms of investment layout,China's textile industry should arrange resources according to local conditions, improve enterprises' own operation ability, cultivate professional talents and improve risk control awareness. In terms of smooth trade,it is necessary to accelerate the construction of free trade network and improve the operation level of textile industry,so as to promote the further development of textile and economic relations between China and countries along "the Belt and Road".
