Study On The Technical Efficiency And Influencing Factors Of Logistics Industry In Fujian Province

As the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and the free trade trial zone,the development of the logistics industry has continued to expand.However,problems such as unbalanced regional development,lack of integrated planning for infrastructure construction,small-scale private logistics entities and innovation,weak management capacity,and low level of information are still constraining the quality and efficiency of the logistics industry in Fujian.Technical efficiency reflects the comparative relationship between the actual allocation of production resources and the optimal allocation status under the condition of constant technology,and is an important indicator to measure the quality and efficiency of economic system development.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the efficiency of logistics industry in Fujian Province and its influencing factors to promote the quality and efficiency of Fujian's logistics industry.Based on the input and output data of logistics industry in Fujian Province from 2005 to 2016,this paper uses the one-step estimation method combining the stochastic frontier production function model and the technical inefficiency function model to explore the technical efficiency and its influencing factors of the logistics industry in Fujian Province.The research results show that the logistics industry in Fujian Province is still a labor-intensive industry,and technological progress is an important force to promote frontier output and extension;the overall logistics industry in Fujian Province has a low level of technical efficiency and is stable at 0.46-0.50;regional logistics technology The efficiency level is significantly different.The level of technical efficiency of logistics in Fuzhou,Xiamen,and Quanzhou is much higher than that in Nanping,Longyan,Ningde,and Putian.Regional economic development level,human capital,logistics agglomeration,and marketization level improve the efficiency of the logistics industry.The positive impact,while foreign direct investment,the level of informatization,government intervention,and the industrial structure constrain the improvement of the logistics industry's technical efficiency.Based on the research conclusions and development status,the article puts forward policy suggestions on rational planning of logistics network nodes,promotion of transformation and upgrading of the logistics industry,strengthening of multiple-combined logistics personnel training,improvement of regional informationization level,improvement of logistics park functions,and promotion of promotion of technical efficiency in the logistics industry.
