The Transaction Cost In The Club Product Supply And Its Reduction Strategy

Club goods is a kind of special public goods,which is between pure public goods and private goods.It is a quasi-public good characterized by exclusiveness and non-competitiveness.In the case discussed in this study,residential elevators in old residential areas are typical club goods,which are exclusive and non-competitive in use.Therefore,we can regard the installation of elevators in old residential areas as a kind of supply behavior of club goods.This study proposes that in the process of club goods supply,transaction costs are mainly generated in the two links of club production and club product supply.In the case of installing elevators in old residential areas,the generation of transaction costs is mainly reflected in the formation of the main body of the installation and the follow-up link of the elevator supply.In order to promote the transformation of government functions and the effective supply of club goods,it is imperative to make the club work.However,in promoting the growth of social forces,we should also note that there are significant lack of strength in the current operation of clubs,which is precisely the advantage of the government's own organizational strength and formal authority.Therefore,in the key area of lack of strength,the government should play its role in the field of supervision,organization and consultation.This study mainly adopts the methods of case study,comparative study and literature study.In terms of the composition of transaction cost in club goods supply,it is considered that it is mainly divided into two parts: the transaction cost of club production and the transaction cost of club product supply.In terms of types,it is considered that coordination cost and incentive cost are two main types.In terms of causes,it is believed that limited rationality and opportunism,asset specificity,the degree of credible commitment,heterogeneity of members and institutional environment in specific situations are the main factors contributing to the formation of club transaction costs.In terms of reducing transaction cost,it is considered that it should not only make the club work,but also make the government work in the key areas of lack of strength of the club.The implementation of ways in clubs and government should also be implemented from two parts: reducing the transaction cost of club production and reducing the transaction cost of club product supply.
