After entering the 21 st century, the information technology industry has developed rapidly and the asymmetry of information has been greatly reduced. At the same time, since the 2008 economic crisis, major countries in the world have realized that the “manufacturing” played important role in the national economy. As a result, major developed countries such as the United States and Western Europe have begun to recover lost manufacturing. The "Industrial Internet" in the United States, the "Industry 4.0" in Germany, and the "Connected Industries" in Japan can all reflect the firm belief of countries in regaining manufacturing.Currently,China is in the middle and late stages of industrialization. At this stage, industrial transformation and upgrading are the focus of China's economic development. The electronics industry is the industry which with the highest degree of integration with information technology among traditional manufacturing. And in eastern Asia,Japan is the first country which has completed industrialization. Its electronics industry is also the first country to embark on and complete service. This paper hopes to analyze the research on the service industry of Japan's electronics industry and to enlighten the service industry of China's electronics industry in the critical period of change. The main part of this paper focuses on the reasons for the service industry of Japan's electronics industry. The case study combines the model of service industry in Japan's electronics industry, analyzes the effectiveness and problems of service industry, and finally combines the development status of China's electronics industry with the above services to the Japanese electronics industry. The analysis of the development of China's electronics industry service development recommendations. The emergence of the Japanese electronics industry into service is the result of the joint promotion of the socio-economic environment and the development of the industry itself. The advancement of the industrialization process and thedevelopment of the backward countries have led to structural changes in Japanese social production factors. At the same time, the development of the Japanese electronics industry itself. It has also reached a difficult situation that is difficult to move forward. Therefore, with the service as the path, extending the industrial value chain has become a new way for the Japanese electronics industry to seek further development. The road to service is a process of continuous deepening, which can be roughly classified into three modes—additional services provided to improve product value, functional services to avoid homogenization, and services as a supporting carrier for services.Japan's electronics industry service has saved the Japanese electronics industry to a certain extent.Although it inevitably lost the dominance of the terminal product market,it opened the door to the new world of the industrial value chain for the Japanese electronics industry. In the information age,China's electronic industry service has directly entered the development of the upstream value chain. The service industry of Japan's electronics industry is the result of the joint efforts of the government and enterprises. This requires the government's personnel training follow-up and policy environment support. It also requires the electronics companies to attach importance to the development of independent intellectual property rights. It is not only the only focus of enterprise income generation. The R&D investment in the early stage may not be reflected in time, but it will be obtained in the long run. Therefore,it is necessary to increase investment in research and development, optimize the organizational structure of enterprises, and promote the steady progress of service industry in the electronic industry.
