As the scale and investment of Chinese construction projects become larger and larger,and the tasks become more and more complex,construction professionals have to devote a lot of time and energy to their work.Thus,construction professionals often suffer a lot of pressure,and suffer from serious work-family conflict and job burnout,which have a serious negative impact on the project performance.Therefore,how to reduce the work-family conflict and job burnout has become a serious problem faced by construction companies.Based on this,this thesis uses the method of empirical research to introduce organizational support as a moderating variable to construct a theoretical model of the relationship between job burnout,work-family conflict and project performance.The purpose is to provide theoretical and practical reference for the construction companies to achieve the improvement of project performance.According to the latent features of the construction company and the features of the construction industry practitioners,this thesis uses the research results of experts and scholars for reference,defines the connotation and manifestation of job burnout,clarifies the concept and characteristics of work-family conflict,clarifies the meaning and evaluation criteria of project performance and defines the concept and characteristics of organizational support.Then,the relationship between job burnout,work-family conflict,organizational support and project performance is tested,a theoretical model is constructed as well.Finally,we apply structural equation modeling to test the relationship between job burnout,work-family conflict,organizational support and project performance.The empirical results show that:(1)Work-family conflict and job burnout are positively correlated.(2)There is a negative correlation between job burnout and project performance.(3)Work-family conflict has significantly negative impact on project performance.(4)Organizational support can moderate the relationship between work-family conflict and project performance.Based on the results,this thesis proposes that construction enterprises should provide more humanistic care and more organizational support to their employees,so as to reduce their job burnout caused by work-family conflict,and then improve project performance.The management strategy of work-family conflict and job burnout,which is considered from the view of organizational support,not only contributes to the theory and practice of work-family conflict management and job burnout management,but also contributes to the construction companies to improve their project performance.
