Research On The Factors Affecting The Price Of Sucrose In Guangxi

Sucrose industry is one of the main sources of economy of Guangxi national economy.Since the reform and opening up,Guangxi's sucrose industry has developed rapidly,accounting for more than 50% of China's sugar industry in recent years.The development of Guangxi's sugar industry is closely related to the price of its sugar,Since 2008 to 2017,Sucrose price fluctuations in Guangxi are more frequent and the volatility is greater.Farmers and sugar companies have caused incalculable losses because of the price fluctuations.So it is very important for the development of sugar industry to research the factors affecting the price of sugar industry in Guangxi.First of all,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign experts and scholars on the price fluctuation of agricultural products.And based on the theory of economic fluctuation theory,value theory,and price equilibrium theory,literature analysis methods,quantitative analysis methods,field surveys and other methods were used to analyze and infer factors affecting sucrose prices in Guangxi.Then discussed the reasons for the volatility of sucrose prices in Guangxi from four aspects:supply level,demand level,national policy leve,and sucrose substitutes.In order to further explain the influencing factors of sucrose price in Guangxi,this paper obtains a large amount of reliable data through inductive collation and field surveys,and uses these data to construct a multiple regression model,and conclude that the above factors all affect the sucrose price fluctuation in Guangxi.Finally,in order to fully promote the rapid development of the sucrose industry in Guangxi,the price of sucrose remains stable.This article finds the causes of instability in the price of sugar in Guangxi from the above-mentioned theory and data.The study found that Guangxi's sucrose price and price formation mechanism is not perfect,the distribution of benefits between enterprises and sugarcane farmers is unbalanced,Guangxi's agricultural mechanization is low,the production cost of sucrose material is high,the country's support and protection of the sugar industry are different,and sugar enterprises lack effective price risk.Management tools and other factors.Then from four aspects put forward to maintain the stability of the sugar prices in Guangxi countermeasures.They are to improve the price formation mechanism,adjust the distribution of the interests of sugarcane farmers,and the government will vigorously develop agricultural mechanization in Guangxi,improve the processing efficiency of sucrose materials,and reduce production costs.The government introduced relevant policy support and protection.Improve awareness of risk management in sugar companies and enhance risk management tools.
