Research On Evaluation Of Technological Innovation Capability Of Small And Medium-sized Pharmaceutical Enterprises

The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is one of the six high-tech industries and one of the fastest growing industries in China,and its status in the national economy is increasing.The pharmaceutical industry is a typical high-risk,high-input,high-return technology-intensive enterprise.Many small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies hesitate to move forward because of its high risk.Innovation is the lifeblood of pharmaceutical companies and a key factor to improve the overall strength of enterprises.In order to adapt to the fierce market competition,it is extremely urgent to improve the level of technological innovation capability of enterprises.The number of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies is increasing,and their contribution to economic development is increasing.Therefore,a comprehensive and objective evaluation of the level of technological innovation capability of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical enterprises has important practical significance for enterprises to recognize the status quo and deficiencies of technological innovation,and to improve and enhance the development of the pharmaceutical industry.This paper follows the research ideas of "propose a problem-analyze the problem-solve the problem".First of all,this paper combs and summarizes the related literatures of domestic and foreign technological innovation capabilities,and analyzes the development status and technological innovation status of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical enterprises.Secondly,this paper draws on the research of the evaluation methods and indicators of technological innovation ability by many scholars at home and abroad.Based on the basic theory and process theory of technological innovation and the theory of value chain,this paper constructs the evaluation index of technological innovation ability of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical enterprises from the perspective of the whole process of technological innovation capability.A total of six first-level indicators and 20 second-level indicators are adopted.Finally,an empirical analysis was conducted on a sample of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies listed on the New Third Board,based on the cross-sectional data of the 2017 company.In this paper,factor analysis is used to obtain five factors: manufacturing and development factors,R&D capability factors,input capability factors,marketing and management capability factors,and patent output capabilities.It also calculates the scores and rankings of each enterprise in terms of factors,and then uses cluster analysis to compare and analyze the differences in technological innovation capabilities among different enterprises.The study found that the evaluation of technological innovation capabilities of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies should be carried out in many ways.The overall level of technological innovation capability of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical enterprises in the sample is low,and the technological innovation capability gap between enterprises is large.Different enterprises have certain differences in various aspects of technological innovation capability.It is necessary to strengthen the balanced development of various capabilities to improve the technological innovation capability of enterprises.According to the research results of this paper,some countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in a targeted manner.
