Analysis On The Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Natural Disaster Insurance Demand In Hainan Province

Agriculture is not only a basic industry of national economy,but also a national strategic industry that ensures national food security and social stability.Agriculture is one of the pillar industries in Hainan Province.The natural nature of agriculture determines that agricultural production and economic development are highly susceptible to various agricultural natural disasters.Hainan Province is located in the tropical region of China.Its geographical position is superior and its climatic conditions are special,resulting in frequent natural disasters throughout the province.The family management-oriented agricultural production model has weak resistance to agricultural natural disasters,which causes farmers to suffer different degrees of agricultural economic losses.The introduction of agricultural natural disaster insurance plays an important role in the risk management of agricultural production in Hainan Province,the guarantee of farmers'economic income,and the promotion of agricultural economic development.Agricultural natural disaster insurance is the most effective means of managing the risks of agricultural natural disasters.However,the theme of agricultural natural disaster insurance is living animals and plants,and the risks of agricultural natural disasters are diverse and difficult to predict.Therefore,the development of agricultural natural disaster insurance in agricultural production areas in Hainan Province is relatively slow.Based on the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,based on the paper data review and questionnaire survey,this paper uses case study,measurement model analysis and other research methods to conduct in-depth research on the influence factors of Hainan Province's demand for agricultural natural disaster insurance.This paper comprehensively analyzes various related theories of agricultural natural disaster insurance,and makes an in-depth analysis of the factors affecting farmers'agricultural insurance demand.After conducting a questionnaire survey among 362 farmers in the three places of Danzhou City,Wanning City and Qiongzhong Li Autonomous County in Hainan Province,and also an empirical analysis of the survey data,this paper discusses the demand of farmers for agricultural nartural disaster insurance and their willingness to pay for it,as well as the insurance mechanism,claim status and other realistic situation.From the perspective of farmers,this paper seeks and observes the influence factors of the insurance demand for agricultural natural disasters in Hainan Province and analyzes the main factors that influence farmers'insurance demand for agricultural natural disasters and the corresponding influence degree through Logistic regression model.Through organization and statistics of the questionnaire data,the investigation reveals that famers' age,education background,family population,annual net income level per capita,cognitive level of agricultural natural disaster insurance and village leaders'work efficiency have obviously positive correlation with farmers'insurance demand for agricultural natural disasters in Hainan Province,but farmers'gender and agricultural production scale operated by farmers have no obvious influence on farmers'insurance demand for agricultural natural disasters in Hainan Province.According to the development status of agricultural natural disaster insurance in Hainan Province and the farmers'demand for agricultural natural disaster insurance,relevant countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening the insurance channels for agricultural natural disasters are put forward.Agricultural natural disaster insurance publicity and publicity methods to increase farmers'agricultural economic income.As an effective way to accelerate the development of agricultural economy in Hainan Province,Hainan Province's agricultural natural disaster insurance should be market-oriented.At the same time,the government should increase its participation in the development of agricultural natural disaster insurance in Hainan Province,so that agricultural natural disaster insurance can play its due role in safeguarding agricultural economy in the agricultural production areas of Hainan Province.
