Research On Sustainable Development Attitude Of Hotel Managers Based On HSBM

Sustainable development is a frontier problem combining theory and practicality.Scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research in this field,and have made a series of achievements.However,the research on the sustainable development attitude of tourism hotel managers is still in a blank state.Combined with the reality of tourism hotel industry in China,and drawing lessons from HSBM and 35 indicators,the questionnaire of this study is sorted out.Finally,through a large number of sample surveys and field interviews,this paper makes a quantitative study on the sustainable development attitude of Zhangjiajie hotel managers.After the data analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In the sustainable development of tourism hotel industry,on the whole,Zhangjiajie tourism hotel managers think that economic and environmental indicators are more important than social indicators.Specifically,they believe that financial,market,resource and human capital indicators are particularly important for the sustainable development of tourist hotels,while for the participation of relevant stakeholders,cultural capital,Biodiversity and environmental education,indicators that cost but do not immediately see benefits,do not pay enough attention to them.(2)In contrast,the larger and higher the scale,the higher the hotel has certain advantages in economy,personnel and so on,can acutely sense the importance of sustainable development to the long-term development of the hotel,and has a more positive attitude towards sustainable development.Pay particular attention to cooperation with relevant stakeholders and the protection of the ecological environment.The smaller the size of the hotel,the more conservative the sustainable development attitude of its managers.The level of environmental awareness of middle and economical hotel management is not high,and the cognition of environmental management stays on the surface,which equates saving resources and protecting the environment with environmental management.At present,it pays more attention to the former interests.(3)Tourism hotel managers have almost reached a consensus on resource conservation and hotel environmental education,and have also taken actions,but it is often difficult for managers to choose between customer satisfaction and environmental education.Most hotel managers prefer customer satisfaction.(4)Profit motivation and policy pressure will have an impact on the sustainable development attitude of hotel managers.Hotels actively take environmental protection measures and attach importance to the use of resources,mostly out of cost savings.Without the government's spur,it is difficult to take the initiative to assume social responsibility such as environmental construction.Finally,based on the analysis results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the differences of the attitudes of Zhangjiajie tourism hotel managers to each index in the sustainable development of Zhangjiajie tourism hotel.In order to promote the sustainable development of Zhangjiajie tourism hotel enterprises and tourism hotel industry.
