Research On The Location Of K Company's Overseas Warehouse Based On Tariff Cost And Freight Price Discount

With the development of global economic integration and the renewal of information technology,cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly.Large multinational companies have all gone abroad to establish new production bases and warehouse transit centers.Based on this background,overseas warehouses as a new model of cross-border logistics are the restructuring,reform and innovation of cross-border logistics resources.By establishing overseas warehouses in demand,the distribution distance of goods is greatly shortened,and cross-border trade is converted into local trade,shortening the cycle of consumer purchase and return,and improving customer satisfaction.To a large extent,it supports and promotes the further development of cross-border e-commerce.However,self-construction or leasing of overseas warehouses abroad has caused enterprises to face high costs,and there may be problems such as backlog of goods.Once the position of the overseas warehouse is selected,it is difficult to change,or it is difficult to change in a short period of time,so this puts higher requirements on the company,so the location of the overseas warehouse becomes a crucial decision.The scientific and rational overseas warehouse location can enable cross-border e-commerce to expand the category of goods in a long period of time,improve distribution efficiency and warehouse service level,and reduce costs.Therefore,the location of overseas warehouses is related to the strategic decision of the enterprise.Therefore,this article takes K company as the research object.As a cross-border e-commerce,K Company has a large market share in China and is already planning to establish more overseas warehouses.Based on the research of warehouse location selection at home and abroad,this paper considers the import and export tariff costs when overseas warehouses are transported across the warehouse,so the impact of tariffs is considered in the model.From the actual situation,taking into account the actual needs of the construction of overseas warehouses,consider the construction costs of overseas warehouses,while using the price discount theory.Considering the impact of freight rate discount on transportation cost when calculating transportation cost is a reflection of the reality of location problem,making the model of this paper more practical and close to reality.Finally,this paper establishes a location model based on tariff cost and transportation price discount.After analyzing the characteristics of the model,the genetic algorithm is used to solve the objective function,and the algorithm is run by MATLAB.The innovation of this paper is to consider the actual construction needs of cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouses.Based on the actual situation,the mathematical model considering tariff cost and transportation price discount is established,and the model is solved by designing genetic algorithm.Finally,through the case analysis of K company,it draws conclusions,which in turn provides a powerful method and basis for more cross-border e-commerce companies that need to build overseas warehouses.While helping enterprises improve their market competitiveness,they also promote the rapid development of international economic trade.This article has a total of 10 pictures,12 tables,and 74 references.
