In recent years,China's cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly and has become a new blue ocean for entrepreneurs after PC e-commerce and mobile e-commerce.The data shows that in 2017,more than 300,000 enterprises in China carried out cross-border e-commerce business,and the transaction scale continued to expand,with a growth rate of 27.53%.From the perspective of trade structure,export cross-border e-commerce accounted for 82.1%,and imports accounted for17.9%.At this stage,China's cross-border e-commerce will be mainly export-oriented,supplemented by imports.Then,on the export cross-border e-commerce platform to sell Chinese goods to the world,cross-border e-commerce logistics has become the most critical factor.However,with the surge in cross-border e-commerce orders,cross-border logistics has exposed a series of problems such as low efficiency,high cost,many complaints,and difficult returns,which has restricted the further development of cross-border e-commerce.In order to cope with the complex and ever-changing cross-border e-commerce logistics demand,third-party overseas warehousing mode came into being.By using overseas warehouses,merchants can shorten delivery time,expand sales categories,increase store traffic,properly solve buyer's return problems,and enhance buyers' shopping experience,thereby increasing merchants' profit margins.D company is a private enterprise specializing in third-party cross-border e-commerce logistics.Its overseas warehouse business has reached 100,000 customers due to its early development and wide coverage.This paper selects D company's overseas warehouse as the research subject,and uses the case analysis method to start from its existing problems and gradually explore its internal optimization management method.The logical framework of this research is as follows: Firstly,introduce the research background,significance,ideas and methods of this paper,summarize the literature review at home and abroad,analyze the advantages and disadvantages ofoverseas warehouses and the development status,as the starting point of this research;secondly,elaborate D company's overseas warehouse development status,internal analysis of its operation and management by questionnaires,external management tools to analyze its development environment,so as to comprehensively derive its current problems in the management process;again,according to D company's overseas warehouse problems,targeted to propose its internal optimization management program and corresponding optimization program implementation safeguards;Finally,the conclusions and follow-up of this paper.From the case of D company's overseas warehouse optimization management,some inspirations are summarized: improving service quality is the core of optimization management;reducing operating cost is the key to optimizing management;improving information system is the key to optimizing management;cultivating excellent talents is the soul of optimal management;localized operations are the ultimate goal of optimal management.
