In the era of economic globalization,financial institutions,especially commercial banks,are facing tremendous competitive pressures.The competition of commercial banks is in the final analysis the competition of talents.How to establish a scientific and reasonable performance appraisal index system to carry out comprehensive and effective performance appraisal management for employees is a human resources management problem that commercial banks must solve.Therefore,domestic and foreign commercial banks attach great importance to the performance appraisal of employees,which is an important work of personnel management in banks.Establishing a performance evaluation index system to adapt to the development of banks is an important management means to improve the overall performance level of commercial banks.Based on the theoretical knowledge of performance appraisal at home and abroad,and using the research results of performance management at home and abroad,this paper analyses the market economic environment of the Hunan Branch of the Construction Bank and the current operation status of the Hunan Branch of the Construction Bank.By using questionnaires and other methods,this paper takes the Hunan Branch of the Construction Bank as the research object,and deeply analyses the current facts of the first-line employees of the Bank.The specific content and situation of the bank’s performance appraisal put forward the specific problems in the implementation of the performance management system.Through the application of the relevant knowledge of performance appraisal,the reform of the current performance appraisal management system of the Hunan branch of the Construction Bank was put forward,and a set of scientific and reasonable performance appraisal management system was put forward again.At the same time,several management systems were formulated.Rational measures can ensure the smooth implementation of performance appraisal management system in Hunan Branch of Construction Bank,and solve the problems encountered in performance management of bank employees scientifically,so as to help bank employees improve their performance through the implementation of performance appraisal system.Based on the relevant performance appraisal theory,this paper analyses the performance appraisal index system of Hunan Construction Bank Branch from the angle of performance appraisal index design,and improves the defects.It hopes that the bank’s rating system will be more perfect,overcome the shortcomings of traditional evaluation index,and establish a more comprehensive,scientific and reasonable staff performance appraisal index system.In order to continuously improve the internal management of banks,avoid bank risks,and provide certain guidance and reference value for the healthy development of domestic commercial banks.
