Research On The Interactive Relationship Between Tourism And Urbanization In Xinjiang

Since the implementation of the national“13th Five-Year Plan”,the tourism industry has been defined as an industry with development prospects,and the concept of “tourism+”was first written in the Central No.1 document.The tourism industry is in a policy support and potential for development.The stage of opportunity.The city is a concentrated carrier of tourist destinations,destinations,and distribution centers,and is an important support for tourism development.The economic,cultural and social benefits brought about by tourism have been increasing,which has promoted the improvement of urbanization.The urbanization development has attracted many high-level and high-quality professional talents,which provides a guarantee for the vigorous development of the tourism industry.There is a close relationship between the two,and many scholars in the academic world have begun to pay attention to and explore the relationship between the two.Xinjiang has rich tourism resources,but industrial and economic development is weak,and the level of urbanization is low.How to realize the coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang and promote local economic development and social stability are urgent problems that need to be solved urgently.Therefore,this paper adopts qualitative and quantitative methods to study the relationship between tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang,and tries to provide certain theoretical basis and suggestions for Xinjiang regional development and social long-term stability.Based on the theory of sustainable development and the theory of industrial relevance,this paper attempts to construct the indicator system of tourism and urbanization development in Xinjiang.The entropy weight method is used to calculate the evaluation score,and the coupling coordination model is tested and analyzed.Genesis relationship.The main research contents of this paper are:(1)Based on the definition of the concept and connotation of tourism and urbanization,combined with the existing research results and the actual situation inXinjiang,try to scale from the tourism population,tourism economic benefits,tourism facilities,tourism tourism.In the four aspects of the industrial situation,the index system of tourism development level is constructed.At the same time,the urbanization development level index system is constructed from five aspects:population urbanization,economic urbanization,social urbanization,infrastructure urbanization and eco-urbanization.(2)According to the established index system,the entropy weight method is used to determine the index weight and evaluation score of each system,and the coupling coordination model is used to analyze the time variation and spatial difference between tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang.The results show that from the perspective of time,the coupling degree of urbanization and tourism in Xinjiang is generally on the rise,and the experience is delayed from low-coupling and coordinated tourism to moderate coupling and coordinated tourism.From the perspective of spatial distribution,Xinjiang The coupling degree of urbanization and tourism system is not balanced,except for the tourism-urbanization in Urumqi and Yili,which is in a state of moderate coupling and coordination,and other regions are in a low coordination state.(3)Conducting the stability test,cointegration test and Granger causality test on the evaluation scores of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang from 1998 to 2017.The results show that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between urbanization and tourism in Xinjiang,but The two do not have Granger causality.Urumqi City was selected as a case study of Granger,impulse response function and variance decomposition.It was concluded that tourism in Urumqi is the Granger cause of urbanization development,and tourism has a positive effect on urbanization.Finally,based on the research conclusions,the corresponding suggestions for the coordinated development of tourism and urbanization in Xinjiang are put forward.
