E Company Hardware Design Quality Management

Due to the hardware project s uniqueness,software R&D projects can be solved by updating the version when the software development project finds errors.If the hardware R&D project there is error,it needs to be re-produced,which not only seriously affects the project schedule and delivery,but also has a negative impact on the company.At the same time,with the internationalization of products,customers have higher and higher requirements for product quality,and there are various certification standards for products entering the market.Therefore,the quality of hardware R&D projects occupies a very important position in R&D projects.The quality management of hardware R&D projects is also the focus of research in domestic and foreign company.In this paper,through the quality management research of hardware R&D projects,the methods of quality management of hardware R&D projects are explored to improve the product quality of the similar company s hardware R&D projects.This paper analyzes the quality status of E company’s hardware R&D projects and the status of quality management,and analyzes the inadequacies of E company’s existing on hardware R&D project quality management.The quality management research of hardware R&D projects described in this paper adopts the method of Integrated Product Development(IPD).Taking E company hardware R&D project as an example,according to IPD project management,cross-department coordination,asynchronous development mode,technical reusability,and structured process,to improve and optimize the E company s R&D process,document standardization,design file standardization,common module.Improvements and optimizations have been made in several aspects such as establishment,technical pre-research,establishment of review mechanism,and cross-platform coordination.An optimization process was developed and design technical specifications and standards,document standards,common modules,and problem tracking databases were established.Finally,compared the data when before and after the optimization and improvement.The research and development process optimization and quality management methods proposed in this paper have better improved in the quality of E company’s hardware R&D projects,and it can also be used for hardware development projects similar to the electronics industry for the reference.
