In combination with the business development needs under the new situation,Guo Hua Life Insurance Co.,Ltd.Guangdong Branch(hereinafter referred to as “Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch”)should build a new performance appraisal system that adapts to its current development needs,thereby enhancing organization performance and staff performance and core competitiveness.At the same time,the results are regarded as an effective orientation of employee behavior,thus promoting the realization of the company's strategic goals and the achievement of the head office mission.This paper takes Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch as a case,and studies the theme of the optimization of performance appraisal program of Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch.Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch has been in existence for more than 10 years since its establishment in August 2008.At this stage,the company has invested a lot of manpower and resources to improve the efficiency of organizational development while promoting the promotion of insurance sales.However,due to the lack of comprehensive understanding,the company's current performance appraisal system is not perfect,and it also reflects the current status of the company's performance management ability.At present,Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch mainly conducts appraisal through subjective evaluation.This exposed a series of problems such as insufficient understanding of performance appraisal,unreasonable design of indicators,lack of fairness and implementation guarantee.In the face of many shortcomings in the performance appraisal system of Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch,first of all,this paper uses the methods of searching literature,case study,and questionnaire to collect arguments.Secondly,based on the theory of target management,fairness theory and demand hierarchy,the KPI assessment method is used to screen performance appraisal indicators,formulate appeal process and design optimization plan.Finally,through the establishment of institutional,process,and personnel safeguards to ensure that the optimized performance appraisal program can be implemented smoothly.It is hoped that the new performance appraisal program will stimulate the enthusiasm of employees,make the company more competitive,and ultimately promote the company to achieve its established strategic goals.The research of this thesis not only helps Guo Hua Life Insurance Guangdong Branch to improve its performance management ability,thus improving its core competitiveness,but also helps other life insurance companies to learn from.
