With the way of travel from traditional tourism to in-depth tourism, the direct or indirect ways of communication between destination residents and tourists with different characteristics are increasing, from micro-level interpersonal communication to macro-cultural collision. Both positive and negative, the interaction effect has greatly affected the quality of tourists' experience and the attitude of residents towards tourism development. In recent years, many scholars have focused their research on some characteristics of residents or tourists themselves, such as demography, social economy, space, and tourism behavior. However, few scholars have included the attitude of how the subject-guest relationship may affect tourism development. In 2010,Woosnam proposed the theory of emotional solidarity, which first integrated the emotional relationship between the subject and the guest into the attitude of tourism development. On the basis of this research, the ancient city of Fenghuang was used as the research area, and the local residents were used as the survey objects.Using factor analysis and structural equations, the following conclusions were drawn:First, the welcoming and emotional intimacy in the emotional solidarity between the subject and the guest has a significant positive impact on the perception of the community contribution of the residents and their support attitude;Second, the welcoming and emotional intimacy in the emotional solidarity between the subject and the guest has a negative impact on the community annoyance brought by the residents to the tourists;Third, residents' perception of community contribution to tourists has a significant positive impact on their support attitude, while community annoyance has a negative impact on residents' support attitude towards tourism development;Fourth, the recognition between the host and the guest has no significant influence on the attitude of the residents. At present, the emotional solidarity level between the residents and the tourists in the ancient city is still at a shallow level and a low level. The reason is that there is a behavior area between the community residents and the tourists.Separation, space separation and low level of interaction.Based on the conclusions, this study improves the emotional solidarity level between the host and the client from the establishment of the interaction ceremony between the host and the guest, formulating relevant institutional norms, and constructing an emotional communication platform to form a trust and standard interaction environment,so as to form a good relationship between the host and the guest.
