In recent years,China is becoming more and more conscious of the importance of insurance industry.What has been clearly brought up in “Advises of the State Council concerning accelerating the development of modern insurance service industry”,published in 2014,is to fundamentally build a comprehensively protective,fully functional,safe,honest,service-oriented,innovative,internationally competitive modern insurance service industry in 2020.Most of all,it has to be adaptable to the needs of the country's economic and social development.Moreover,China has to transit from a big insurance country to an insurance power.Insurance industry is currently facing a historic developmental opportunity,along with increasingly fierce competition.When facing the increasingly fierce market competition,in order to occupy the market,insurance companies need to achieve and maintain the continuous competitive advantage.As a capital and knowledge intensive industry,insurance companies should not only rely on the traditional capital function,but also learn to take advantage of the human resource,which is the most competitive resource,to maintain and strengthen one's own competitiveness.Based on the current situation of the insurance companies in China,the purpose of the study is to evaluate the need of building the strategic human resource management system,through the analysis of the current situation of human resource management and existing problems,with the combination of the researches on human resource management at home and abroad.We study the example of Z Property Insurance company building strategic human resource management system,improving the human resource management capability and increasing the competitive strength.What's more,we hope the research on Z company's strategic human resource management will therefore to provide useful reference to the relevant or similar industries.
