Research On Cross-Strait Agricultural Economic And Trade

Since the signing of ECFA,cross-strait trade in agricultural products has entered a new stage.After the Cai administration came to power in 2016,due to her refusal to recognize the 1992 consensus,political conflicts between the two sides of the Taiwan straits became prominent,and official interactions between the two sides fell to the freezing point.As a result,cross-strait economic and trade cooperation was greatly affected.Because of this political bottleneck,people on both sides of the Taiwan straits hope to promote the integration of the two sides by strengthening economic exchanges,especially the Taiwanese people is the problem of the people's livelihood in the first position.In the process of cross-strait economic and trade exchanges,agricultural economic and trade exchanges have always been a focus,especially for the people in southern Taiwan.On the one hand,compared with the mainland,Taiwan's agricultural production has its comparative advantages and great trade potential.On the other hand,more concentrated in the agricultural sector in southern Taiwan,and south Taiwan is more library and the base of the pro-independence democratic progressive party(DPP)ticket.Therefore,it is not only related to the economic development of the two sides of the Taiwan straits,but also related to the improvement of the political relations between the two sides to discuss the current situation and problems of the cross-strait agricultural trade and economic exchanges,and to explore the farmers in southern Taiwan can more substantial benefits from the cross-strait agricultural trade and economic cooperation.The problem that appears in cross-strait agriculture economy and trade course are not caused by economic development itself,but more by factors outside economic factors.How to solve this problem and how to seek a way with lower cost and higher benefit in economic and trade communications is of vital importance to both sides economically and politically.On the issue of cross-strait trade in agricultural products,the mainland adopts "administrative practices".This practice's approach is prone to such drawbacks as unsustainability,uneven distribution and "indifference" of the grassroots.Therefore,this paper puts forward the concept of "social and economic practice" between perfect market competition and perfect "administrative practice",which is used to improve the existing problems of cross-strait agricultural trade.What improvement measures should be made based on the "administrative practice" and how to balance the administrative practice and social economic practice are the key issues we focus on in this paper.This paper first analyzes the characteristics of agricultural products,cross-strait political and economic situation and the status quo of cross-strait agricultural trade.calculating and analyzing the cross-strait agricultural trade cost index by Novy measure method.It is pointed out that the cost of "social economic practices" is lower than that of "administrative practices".Then it summarizes the meaning of "administrative practices" and "social economic practices ".And it summarizes and defines the meaning of "administrative practices " and "social economic practices ".This paper tries to analyze the forms of these two practices in the cross-strait agricultural trade and economic communication and the advantages and disadvantages of these two practices in this form.Among them,the advantage of social economic practices--bringing "common sense" is analyzed and elaborated.At last,the paper makes a summary and puts forward some suggestions on the existing problems at the present stage.
