In recent years,Chinese economy is in the stage of “speed-shifting”,and no longer pursues the rapid growth of GDP.People are beginning to pay attention to environmental protection and green development.Green credit is the effort made by financial institutions for environmental protection.By assessing the environmental risks of enterprises and controlling the flow of funds,green credit can indirectly eliminate the environmental problems that enterprises may bring.At the same time,it helps banks expanse and transform the business.Under the pressure of narrowing the traditional business spread and the economic downturn,Chinese banks can develop business and gain new profit through the development of green credit business.However,there are many problems restricting the development of green credit.Therefore,how to effectively solve these problems is the importance for Chinese banks to develop green credit.This paper which is used the case study,selects J Bank as the research object.J Bank is a city commercial bank,which is on behalf of Chinese middle and small-sized banks.However,J bank is at the forefront in the development of green credit,and especially,adopt the Equator Principles in 2017.Therefore,J bank has a certain representative.The paper conducts in-depth research on the development of J Bank's green credit business,such as environmental protection benefits,green products,organizational structure and the Equatorial Principles.In addition,it points out some problems in the current practice,and sorts out the influencing factors that restrict the development of J Bank's green credit.Then,the GreyDEMATEL method is used to analyze the influencing factors of the development.Finally,the paper studies the importance between the various influencing factors.According to the research in this paper,the imperfect legal system in China is the most fundamental and most important factor in the implementation of green credit.Meanwhile,the lack of green credit risk control indicators is the most direct influencing factor.Since the improved direct influencing factors can significantly promote the development of green credit in the short term.Based on the conclusions of this study,the paper proposes an optimization design proposal for green credit risk assessment indicators,green innovation products and talent cultivation.At the same time,this paper also proposes a series of optimization suggestions for important factors in the external environment.
