With the rapid development of global economic integration,the hotel industry has ushered in a new era of rapid development.China's accession to the World Trade Organization has brought more and more international hotels into China,which has had a tremendous impact on China's hotel industry market.For local hotels,they are in a disadvantageous position in the fierce market competition.In order to learn from the development and management experience of international well-known hotels and promote the development of local hotels,this paper studies the success of international hotel groups and their application in China's local hotels,expecting to improve the market competitiveness of domestic hotels and make local hotels more competitive through the study of this paper.Occupy a favorable position in the fierce competition in the international market.This paper mainly includes three aspects of research content: First,the concept of hotel and hotel group is analyzed,the concept of hotel brand,the value of brand and the role of brand are elaborated,and the expansion strategy theory,location advantage theory,monopoly advantage theory are studied.For the local hotels in China,although the number of hotels is increasing rapidly,the number of hotel practitioners is increasing rapidly,and the number of hotel brands is also increasing,the development of local hotels is not balanced,lack of well-known hotel brands,hotel management is not high,lack of innovation and neglect of talent,and the importance of hotel development.Secondly,it elaborates the current management modes of International Hotel groups,namely,direct management mode,franchise mode,cooperation and leasing mode,and strategic alliance mode.The reason why international hotel groups can achieve success is that they have adopted brand management strategy and diversified management mode in the course of implementing operation.It has formulated scientific human resource management strategy and digital marketing.Finally,it analyzes the Enlightenment of the success of the International Hotel group,which adopts the grouping development model,combines the market to formulate the hotel brand,realizes the innovative development of the hotel and scientifically manages the staff.For local hotels,in the future development process,it is necessary to realize the grouping development of hotels,formulate a variety of well-known brands covering the whole market,strengthen human resources management,constantly improve the service quality of hotel groups,implement digital transformation,and ensure the wide application of advanced technology in the operation of hotel groups..The development of local hotels is hindered by the strong impact of International Hotel groups.In the process of the development of local hotels,we should fully absorb the development strategies and management strategies adopted by international well-known hotels in the development process.At the same time,we should formulate a more scientific hotel development plan according to the actual development of local hotels.We should attach importance to the hotel talents and establish a good local brand.
