In recent years,the IT industry has been facing unprecedented adjustment.Its because of the impact of the mobile terminals on the PC industry.At the same time,the development of cloud computing and big data forces traditional IT enterprises to realize that strategic transformation is the best strategy to deal with industry changes.As a traditional IT company,TD Company has a success.However,since 2011,due to the limitation,its performance has declined frequently,and also the IT industry has changed very quickly.New entrants also keep threating TD company,and new development opportunities need to be found via strategic transformation.The relevant research is beneficial to TD company to make the best strategic choice,and also beneficial to similar enterprises to use as reference.According to strategic transformation theory,this paper takes TD Company as a case study,applying literature analysis,case study,comparative analysis,PEST analysis,SWOT analysis and five-force model analysis.The analysis of internal and external competitive environment of TD Company indicates the necessity of strategic transformation for TD,and then the decision of strategic transformation is made,and some problems that it may face in strategic transformation are summarized.Finally,this paper gives the implementation and countermeasures of TD Company's strategic transformation.The result of SWOT analysis shows that based on the current situation,TD Company should actively change its inferiority,and its continuous profit decline and layoffs,through the help of external opportunities for a rapid strategic transformation.In the process of its transformation,it may face four aspects: whether to keep traditional business,how to reposition and maintain the customer,how to introduce new business and how to stabilize the profit,and how to deal with multiple competitors.Therefore,according to the objectives and principles of strategic transformation,the plan is defined that TD company should be divided into T enterprise which mainly deals with storage,servers,cloud platform while D company for PC and printer business.To ensure the transformation process,it's required to improve the business model and management based on customer needs.to strengthen the introduction and training of talents in strategic transition,strengthen the integration of internal and external resources,and strengthen the cognition and participation of all staff in the process of strategic transformation.
