Research On The Influence Of Entrepreneurial Pro-social Motivation On Supply Chain Performance

In recent years,the supply chain has gradually changed from a chain structure to a mesh structure.With the increasingly fierce competition today,the difficulties of its management arise.Both scholars and practitioners are very concerned about supply chain management and supply chain integration.With the supply chain management coming up,the research on supply chain integration has become a hot issue.However,from the existing studies,most of them are studied in external factors,such as environmental factors,the supply chain is to rely on people to integrate,further,the supply chain integration depends on entrepreneurs to launch,so we should focus on entrepreneurs.In addition,more and more scholars are aware of the importance of pro-social motivation for business development.However,pro-social motivation only stays in the field of psychology.Few scholars study the application of pro-social motivation in management.Based on the above background,this paper selects entrepreneurial pro-social motivation as an independent variable to study its impact on the relationship between supply chain integration,competition intensity and supply chain performance.According to the questions raised,this paper starts with pro-social motivation theory,transaction cost theory,resource dependence theory and organizational ability theory,and elaborates the hypothesis of the research and the logic of the model.Therefore,this article takes 171 manufacturing enterprises as the research object.According to the collected data,this article has carried out descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity test,confirmatory factor analysis,correlation analysis,path analysis and hypothesis testing.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn: The entrepreneurial pro-social motivation has a significant positive impact on supplier integration,internal integration,and customer integration;supplier integration,internal integration,and customer integration have a significant positive effect on supply chain performance;competitive intensity has a significant positive adjustment effect on internal integration,customer integration and supply chain performance,and has no regulatory effect on supplier integration and supply chain performance.This study conclusion has an important guiding role for entrepreneurs in the current critical period of transformation and upgrading and supply-side structural reforms.Entrepreneurs need to change the original “profit-for-profit” thinking model and fully recognize the importance of pro-social motivation.We must pay attention to cultivating pro-social motivation so as to promote China’s economic transformation and upgrading.
