Development Dilemma And Countermeasure Research Of Shimei Bay Tourist Resort In Wanning City

With the improvement of people’s living standard and the emergence of paid vacation,the traditional mass tourism can not meet people’s high-level psychological needs,such as spiritual and recreational entertainment.Therefore,tourism resorts with multiple functions of sightseeing,experience,leisure and vacation emerge at the historic moment.Shimei Bay,one of the key tourist resorts in Wanning City,is still facing many development difficulties,such as incomplete land expropriation,imperfect transportation development,unstable increase of passenger sources,inadequate implementation of tourism marketing,and local ecological environment protection problems after more than 20 years of development,which lead to development constraints.Therefore,the study of the development dilemma of Shimei Bay tourist resort and the corresponding development proposals can improve the tourism influence of Shimei Bay tourist resort,and have important reference significance and value for other similar coastal tourist resorts.Firstly,from the point of view of domestic and foreign scholars’ literature research,this paper combs the different development process of domestic and foreign tourist resorts.Then,based on Butler’s life cycle as the theoretical basis,it summarizes the characteristics of each stage in the development process of Shimei Bay tourist resort into six stages,and studies the development dilemma of Shimei Bay tourist resort in Wanning City.The object of study is to analyze the development dilemma of Shimei Bay in Wanning City by using various analysis methods.Finally,the corresponding integrated development strategies are put forward to solve the development dilemma of Shimei Bay tourism resort,in order to provide research value for the next step of the life cycle evolution of Shimei Bay tourism resort.
