Study On Life Cycle Of Coastal National Scenic Spots In China

The growth of tourist destinations is a living self-organizing phenomenon,including the life process of development introduction,accelerated growth,and maturity to final decline.Therefore,how to determine the development stage and historical evolution of tourist destinations,and innovation of tourist destinations And the improvement of the system is of great significance.At present,the most widely used tourism destination evolution theory is derived from the western tourism destination life cycle theory.It comprehensively summarizes the rules of tourism destination development and evolution.It is an important part of the tourism development theory system and is widely concerned by domestic and foreign tourism scholars.One of the theories.Since the reform and opening up,coastal tourism,as an emerging tourism method in China,has been well received by people in recent years,and its development speed is very fast.As of 2018,the coastal tourism industry has realized an added value of 1,607.8 billion yuan,an increase of 8.3% year-on-year.But compared with foreign countries,China's coastal tourism development time is relatively late,compared with other types of tourist destinations,the research time series is shorter,and the positioning of tourism development stages is ambiguous.Therefore,this article will conduct in-depth research on this issue to guide the sustainable development of China's coastal tourism destinations.Based on Butle's tourism area life cycle theory,this paper selects ten coastal national scenic spots in China as the research object,and studies from the stage evolution characteristics and economic growth response of the scenic spot.First,the Logistic model was used to fit the tourist volume of 10 scenic spots from 1998 to 2016,and the Butle theory was used to quantitatively divide the development stages of each scenic spot.On this basis,a comparative analysis of scenic spots of different resource types is made,and the characteristics of life cycle evolution of coastal scenic spots in China are summarized.Secondly,the impulse response function is used to impact the economic development factors of the scenic spot through the amount of tourists.Starting from the response results of different types of scenic spots,resource-type scenic spots,and different economic factors,it reveals the specific differences and connections of the role of tourists in the development of scenic spots.Finally,according to the research results,measures to promote the sustainable development of coastal tourism destinations in China are proposed.The study found that:(1)7 out of 10 scenic spots conformed to the Butler theory's "S" type development characteristics,with obvious stages,which were classified into mature,stable and developmental types.Lushunkou,Xingcheng Waterfront,and Laoshan are classified as fluctuating if their regularity is not strong.The scenic spots with "S" characteristics have gone through the exploration stage and participation stage.Except for the Shengsi Islands,which are currently in the development stage,the other scenic spots are in the consolidation or mature stage.(2)Compared with the Butler theory,China's coastal scenic spots have the characteristics of rapid increase in tourist volume and rapid development.Although the number of tourists in a few scenic spots has stagnated due to the limitation of environmental capacity,the economic benefits are still increasing.Generally speaking,even if China's coastal scenic spots enter the fifth stage of the life cycle,they do not have the main characteristics of stagnation,so we call this stage the mature stage.(3)The results of the impulse response show that when the life cycle of the scenic spot goes through each stage one by one,compared with the increase in the number of tourists,the consumption level of tourists and the diversified operating structure of the scenic spot will increasingly promote the scenic spot.Therefore,the development of the scenic spot is being realized.Simply relying on the increase in the number of tourists turned into an improvement in quality.(4)Based on the above research,this paper proposes that tourism resources,market scope and demand,and operating income structure are important factors affecting the life cycle evolution of the Sea Area,and puts forward countermeasures for the sustainable development of the coastal tourism area from three aspects.
