Study On The Influence Of The New Rural Social Endowment Insurance On The Family Food Consumption Of The Old People In The Countryside

The new rural social endowment insurance(hereinafter referred to as the new rural insurance)is a society that is organized and implemented by the government for the purpose of ensuring the basic living of rural residents and adopting a fund-raising model combining individual contributions,collective subsidies and government subsidies.Endowment insurance system.This paper takes the new rural insurance system implemented in China as the research object,and uses the data of the new rural insurance income in the 2013 National Survey of China Health and Pension Tracking Survey(CHARLS)and the food consumption of the elderly households to investigate the new farmers.The impact of the insurance system on the food consumption of rural elderly households.Using the stata15 software,a fixed-effects model was used,and a series of variables were controlled to investigate whether the role of the new rural insurance and the food consumption of rural elderly households was involved,followed by a robustness test.From the empirical results,it can be found that the implementation of the new rural insurance policy has a positive effect on the food consumption of the elderly households.Rural elderly people who participate in the new rural insurance have higher food consumption expenditures.According to the research conclusions of this paper,it is recommended to increase the disposable income of the rural elderly and raise the level of pension benefits.In addition,it is necessary to establish a standard adjustment mechanism for personal payment grades to increase the flexibility of participation.
