Study On The Improvement Of Warehouse Management In IT Distribution Enterprises

This paper studies the warehouse management of the representative A company in IT distribution enterprise,and analyzes the existing problems through the current situation.This paper focuses on the layout and warehouse management within a single warehouse,this paper focuses on the tocking area,ratio of warehouse area and shelf quantity than(utilization ratio),storage density,operation flow and other factors,and carried out in-depth analysis,these factors are microscopic,but have a crucial impact on warehouse operating costs and efficiency.In order to find out the theoretical basis for warehouse planning and layout,slotting management,and management efficiency improvement,this paper studies the relevant literature of warehouse management.Qualitative research on the actual operation of warehouse in A company,analysis of warehouse related facilities,space utilization,personnel labor efficiency,warehouse layout,slotting management and other factors,these important factors determine the warehouse operating costs and efficiency.This paper focuses on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the layout and slotting optimization of the warehouse.In the layout,first with the method of stored weight verified the warehouse area,optimization measures is to improve the storage density,increase the number of storage in order to make full use of the width and height of the warehouse: in vertical direction,through the calculation of storage ratio,the shelf height that can make full use of space is designed,In the case of total height unchanged,the 4 tier shelf will be increased to 5 shelf;in horizontal space,reduce lane width,transform the 3 meter ordinary lane into a 1.8 meter narrow lane,the investment analysis of narrow channel is also carried out.In the slotting,an analytical model is developed based on the liquidity principle of the goods,ensure the largest number of goods out of warehouse have the minimum walking distance to the door,to obtain the minimum walking distance as a whole,this makes the slotting better configuration.In order to analyze the warehouse management of IT distribution enterprises,in this paper,supply chain management theory and warehouse management theory are applied.Focus on the case of A company,this paper studies the path and thinking of warehouse optimization management.The measures and strategies proposed in this paper obviously improve the efficiency of warehouse utilization and reduce the operation cost of warehouse.In fact,it is through the continuous decline in operating costs of enterprises,in order to continuously improve the enterprise's own operating capacity.And lower costs are bound to benefit consumers through market competition,forming a virtuous circle of social sales and consumption.
