Trade Development Potential Analysis Of China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor

China's proposal to jointly build the Silk Road Economic Belt has received positive response from Russia and Mongolia.During the meeting of the heads of state of China,Russia and Mongolia on September 11,2014,President Xi Jinping said that the "Silk Road Economic Belt" could be linked with Russia's "Trans-Eurasian Railway" and Mongolia's "Grassland Road" initiative to build the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor".The construction of the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" can enhance mutual trust,promote mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation and realize complementary advantages of the three parties.Understanding the trade environment and bilateral trade potential of the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" will enrich the connotation of the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" and promote the construction of the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor".Firstly,this paper introduces the background and significance of studying the trade development potential of the "Sino-Mongolian-Russian Economic Corridor",summarizes the relevant literature,gets some ideas on the basis of previous studies,and elaborates relevant theories,which provides theoretical basis for the following research and analysis.Then the development orientation and function of "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" are clarified,and the development process of "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" is sorted out.Then it analyses the development status of "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" from two aspects of infrastructure construction and economic and trade cooperation,and finds that in infrastructure,transportation infrastructure is relatively backward,network communication coverage is not comprehensive,information can not be fully interconnected,port infrastructure construction is imperfect;in economic and trade cooperation,tripartite trade has strong complementarity but single trade structure.Characteristic.Secondly,the stochastic frontier gravity model is used to measure the trade potential of the "Sino-Mongolian-Russian Economic Corridor",and a conclusion is drawn that the trade potential of the "Sino-Mongolian-Russian Economic Corridor" is enormous.The non-efficiency factors affecting trade in the model are analyzed from five perspectives: policy communication,facility communication,trade smoothness,capital financing and public sentiment.Thirdly,it makes a summary analysis of the influencing factors for all the previous analysis.The influencing factors of trade include transport infrastructure,customs clearancefacilitation and human communication.Finally,according to these three points and the previous trade situation,the paper puts forward some suggestions for further releasing the trade potential.Firstly,we should speed up the construction of transport infrastructure,strengthen the construction of transport infrastructure represented by railways,and ensure the smooth implementation and timely completion of construction projects.Secondly,we should strengthen the construction of ports,enhance the level of customs clearance facilitation,and strengthen the infrastructure of ports.Construction and improvement of customs clearance efficiency to improve the level of customs clearance facilitation;third,strengthening cultural exchanges and cooperation,strengthening cultural exchanges and cooperation from the two aspects of strengthening the training of relevant language talents and actively building friendly cities;fourth,strengthening cooperation in non-resource areas and optimizing the single trade structure between China,Mongolia and Russia.
