Spatial Pattern Of County Economy And Geographic Detection Of Influencing Factors In Gansu

The county is often regarded as the most basic economic unit in China,as it is not only the basic unit for the enforcement implementation of various policies and measures in our country,but also the core bearing area of rural economy and poverty alleviation.County economy plays an important role in the overall economic development of most areas.Simultaneously the development level and quality of county economy directly affect the process of poverty alleviation and well-off society construction.In particular,the No.1 central document clearly put forward the resolution to promote the quality and level of the county economy at the start of 2019.Gansu Province,which located in China’s inland areas,far from the eastern economic core area.At present,its economic development level is low,higher transport and transaction costs accompanied by lower returns on investment deepen the poverty of Gansu Province.Poverty is widespread and the level is deep within the province.At present,Gansu Province has entered a critical period of poverty alleviation,the transition period of rural revitalization and integration,as well as at the economic transformation and upgrading period,its core task is to achieve higher quality and more efficient development of the county economy.This paper takes the county of Gansu Province as the basic research scale unit,uses NICH Index to analyze unbalanced development of the province,and captures hot spots and cold spots to better catching the spatial pattern.Finally,the paper uses the Geo-detector to analyze the factors affecting the economic efficiency differences in Gansu Province Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to carry out this research to support Gansu Province to get rid of backwardness gradually.In view of the key factors affecting economic quality and efficiency,it is helpful to find ways of transformation and upgrading so as to guide the formulation of regional development policies.The research results show that the county economic development in Gansu Province with the rank-size distribution and in a concentrated development state.During the study period,the economic scale of the first county was always lower than the ideal county economic scale,and the economic scale of each county with the second to fifth ranks was also below the fitting curve,.It showed that the high-ranking counties are undeveloped and still has certain development potential.The space of county economic development in Gansu has an obvious "point-axis" development model,and unbalanced "dumbbell" pattern of the center of gravity tilting to the northwest.And the county economic development has a trend that the core area of Gansu province’s county economic growth has shrunk,while the peripheral area has an expanding trend and shows a certain "Matthew effect".From 2001 to 2015,comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of county economic development in Gansu were all in a downward trend,and they never reached the optimal level,which reflects the relatively low economic efficiency of counties in Gansu Province.The scale efficiency was significantly higher than the comprehensive efficiency and pure technical efficiency,which reflects the economic development relies more on the economies of scale brought by the investments and technological innovation are at a low level in Gansu,which brings certain obstacles to the economic restructuring and transformation of county economy in Gansu province.In general,the economic efficiency of Gansu province was greatly affected by government intervention at the beginning of the study,and the intensity of financial and market factors was gradually highlighted in the later period.In the view of subareas,there are obvious regional differences in the dominant factors.Industrial structure,industrialization level and financial development have become the main factors affecting the economic efficiency of the county in Hexi.It faces the dual challenges of industrial restructuring and technological progress.Compared to other regions,the influence value of the detection factors in the central part of Gansu province is relatively high.Industrial structure,industrialization level and market size have become the main factors affecting the economic efficiency of the county in the central part of Gansu province.But the existence of the "space deprivation" phenomenon has become an obstacle to the improvement of county economic efficiency;industrial structure and government intervention are the dominant factors affecting the economic efficiency of the counties in the eastern and southern in Gansu provinces.
