The Study Of Spatial Correlation And Spillover Effect On County Economy Of Gansu Province

As the smallest unit of the regional economy, county is a node to connect rural and urban, the development of county economic plays an important role in rural and urban development, only by solving the problems of county economy development can we effectively solve the problem of the development of China’s vast rural areas and provide a market for the development of the city and hinterland economy. In the process of economic development, the county did not exist as a separate individual, but through the logistics, capital flow, information flow and other close contact with the adjacent county. How to play the leading role of radiation between the county, or spatial spillover effects have been for theory researchers’attention, but previous studies have rarely considered the influence of spatial position of county economic ties. Gansu province located in the northwest, which belongs to the undeveloped areas, the conclusions and recommendations on the spatial correlation and the spillover effect of the county economy has the reference significance to promote the development of Gansu province and other western county economy development.This paper describes the county’s per capita GDP of Gansu Province at the point of spatial distribution by using the software of Arcgis10.2 visualization, We found that the distribution of 1994-2013 County of Gansu Province, the per capita GDP of the space form has been showing a northwest to southeast of the pattern of economic growth, increasing polarization. County Economic Global Moran’s I index reveals the existence of a very significant spatial autocorrelation between the county economy, Local spatial autocorrelation shows the form of spatial aggregation s similar with spatial distribution characteristics.The use of absolute convergence and conditional convergence model is introduced to measure spatial spillover between county economy, showing strong spatial spillover effect between county; when the spatial weight matrix distance is index and the distance is in the range of 200-250 km, the spillover effect between the county is the largest. The spillover effect of distance decays,which strengthens the county economy spatial aggregation, also widen the gap between the formation of the county economy, which forming the county economy of the high-high and low-low club convergence club convergence. Conditional convergence model by using the spatial error variables, showing that investment and financial dependence is the two largest factor to promote county economic divergence, but the urbanization rate is helpful to promote the county economic convergence. Finally, the author puts forward some opinions on the coordinated development of county economy in Gansu province under the relevant theoretical support.
