With the economic globalization and integration process being advanced,market competition is more and more fiercely,many companies face the problem that how to improve the competitiveness persistently.It has become less realistic that a single company develop in the whole area when the division of labor become more and more refined.It has reach a consensus that through the cooperation between company and company to realize complementing each other's advantages and coordinated development,it's also the key to realize company's sustainable development.Finding a right supplier and establishing good partnership can not only help improve the competitiveness but also help both company promote the development.There are a lot of theoretical researches and practice cases about how to manage suppliers at home and abroad.The company I work also set up the mechanism and methods to manage suppliers.The paper targets improving F company's supplier management,firstly introduces the present situation of supplier management,including development and evaluation,access evaluation,performance evaluation,information system management,etc.and puts forward the existing problems that process applicability is not high,company's recognition degree is not high,evaluation criterion is not scientific,information management is faultiness.Secondly uses the theory of process methods to analyze the factors that supplier management involved.Based on the analysis result,the paper designs the new process that apply to the characteristics of the company,including the whole supplier management process(development and evaluation,access evaluation,performance evaluation),and sets the “quality door”.Thirdly completes the procedures,documents and methods of supplier management,to make responsibility and authority of supplier management people clear,and sets up standard operation,to let the whole process base on the evidence.According to the characteristics of various types of suppliers,re-establishes supplier evaluation(access evaluation,performance evaluation)norms and standards,to form a differentiated management programs.Fourthly,sets up a supplier information exchange platform and communication channel by the new management system SRM,to improve the static information management ability,also the dynamic information.In the paper,the reasons,basis and improvement measures of the improvement of supplier management process are emphasized.Finally,this paper demonstrates the rationality and effectiveness of the supplier improvement program through the application examples of supplier management process optimization and supplier management information system in F company,and puts forward the direction and suggestion of follow-up work.
