Research On Cost Management Of It Project Based On The Application Of The Theory Of Constraints

As the globalization of market economy and information technology coming,productivity is improved in various industries due to the maturity of all advanced technology.This does not only shortening the replacement cycle of product,but also intensify market competition.After 30 years development,TOC is gradually improved during practice and plays a vital role in company management.While related research of TOC is fairly inadequate in IT business because human cost takes a large share in IT project.Therefore,it has a positive and effective practical implication to carry out the research of TOC and optimizing the solution of project cost management in the IT business.This article starts from the character of IT project,combine the related knowledge of IT project management and operations research.First of all,we build a model of minimum human cost and find the bottleneck of the project by DBR method of TOC during the progress of continuous iteration.Next,we find the balance between bottleneck and human cost by the analysis of whole project by TOC and gradually adjust the composition of human.At last,add feeding buffer and whole buffer of the project while build a calculation model for resource buffer of human cost based on the management of bottleneck resource.TOC is mainly used to manage the equipment in enterprise in traditional business while if we used TOC in management of human cost in IT business and study of the productivity of human cost to confirm a minimum cost model in IT project and finally achieve the goal of helping IT company to gain more profit by reasonable arrangement and adjustment of human cost.It is of great significance for TOC theory and IT business and may even lead TOC theory extend to more field.
