TMT's Characteristics And Ambidextrousinnovation

Ambidextrous innovation is an important way for enterprises to maintain their existing competitive advantages and enhance their future market competitiveness.Because top management teams(TMT)are the designers and implementers of corporate strategies,there is certain significance to research what kind of TMT can contribute to the ambidextrous innovation of enterprises.This treatise mainly studies the correlation between the characteristics of TMT of Chinese listed companies and the ambidextrous innovation of enterprises,and also focuses on the compensation incentive mechanism's moderating effect on the relationship between TMT's characteristics and Ambidextrous innovation.This treatise uses the listed companies during 2010-2014 as a sample,and makes use of empirical method to make the analysis.The last results show that:(1)The percentage of male executives,academic qualifications and duration of senior managers is positively correlated with the dual innovation of the company;(2)There is a positive correlation between academic differences,duration differences of senior managers and the ambidextrous innovation of enterprises,and there is a negative correlation between gender differences and corporate ambidextrous innovation;(3)Compensation incentive mechanism has positive moderating effects on the relationship between the percentage of male executives,academic qualifications and corporate ambidextrous innovation;(4)Compensation incentive mechanism has positive moderating effects on the relationship between gender differences,duration differences of senior managers and corporate ambidextrous innovation.At the same time,according to the nature of enterprise property rights,this treatise divides the sample enterprises into state-owned enterprises group and non-state-owned enterprise group for further regression analysis,and then makes a more specific analysis of the research results,and based on this result,puts forward conclusions and relevant recommendations.
