Manufacturing is an important driving force for the long-term development of a country's economy and a pillar industry that dominates economic growth and transformation.Since the reform and opening,China has gradually become the largest manufacturing country in the world which is called the “world factory” with its rich and cheap labor resources.However,due to the gradual loss of demographic dividends,cost advantages,scale advantages,institutional advantages and the strengthening of core technology monopolies in developed countries,China's manufacturing industry has fallen into the embarrassing situation of “low-end locking”.With the maturity of technologies such as the Internet,big data,and artificial intelligence,the traditional manufacturing industry has shown an obvious intelligent upgrading trend,and the manufacturing production mode has gradually shifted from extensive to refined.Therefore,under the new normal state with excellent structure and new power as the main features,the integration of industrialization and informationization is promoted,and the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry has become a breakthrough point for China's industrial transformation and upgrading in the future.It is widely regarded as the future by the theoretical and business circles.The direction of development of the manufacturing industry.Based on the above background,this paper focuses on the research on the smart manufacturing demonstration pilot project announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2015-2018.This paper combines theoretical research with empirical research,qualitative research and quantitative research from the perspective of the innovation value chain.Firstly,based on the research literature on intelligent manufacturing and innovation value chain,the paper analyzes the lack of existing research to determine the research ideas of this paper.And then through the theoretical summary of the intelligent upgrade path and innovation efficiency evaluation of manufacturing,dividing the innovation process into the innovation technology research stage and the innovation achievement transformation stage,and constructing the two-stage chain network DEA theoretical model of the manufacturing intelligent upgrade and innovation process.Then the empirical analysis measures the manufacturing enterprises to promote the upgrade through the use of intelligent manufacturing technology.The innovation efficiency of the process changes,and further analyzes the specific factors that affect the efficiency of manufacturing intelligent upgrade and innovation.Finally,it provides suggestions for the intelligent upgrade of the future manufacturing industry from the perspective of both enterprises and government.The results show that,regardless of industry comparison,regional comparison,or comparison of enterprise nature,the efficiency of R&D of the first phase of innovation in Chinese manufacturing enterprises is higher than that of the second phase.At present,the main factor affecting the overall innovation efficiency of enterprises is the efficiency of innovation technology research and development,and the transformation efficiency of innovation results is the main factor to lower the overall efficiency.China's manufacturing intelligent innovation is better in technological R&D and development of patents,and whether patent technology can be effectively transformed into enterprise benefits has become an important proposition that has plagued the further development of intelligent transformation of manufacturing enterprises.On the other hand,from the analysis of specific influencing factors,corporate profitability and government subsidies can promote the innovation efficiency of intelligent manufacturing enterprises.The tax burden has a reverse effect on the efficiency of intelligent manufacturing enterprises.The company's equity concentration and intelligent manufacturing The efficiency of enterprise innovation is improved into a U-related relationship.
