China's transportation demand is growing,and the energy consumption and carbon emissions of the transportation industry are very large,which has brought adverse effects on the ecological environment and the development of social economy,causing the whole society to pay attention to the energy conservation and emission reduction of transportation industry.In addition,the problem of coordinated development within the transportation industry is prominent,and the unreasonable transport structure aggravated the extra energy consumption and carbon emission,threatening the sustainable development of the transport industry.Therefore,it is necessary to solve the problem of high energy consumption and high emissions in the transportation industry caused by unreasonable transportation structure.Taking Sichuan province,a comprehensive transportation hub in the west of China,as the research object,this paper firstly analyzed the current status and characteristics of freight transportation in Sichuan province,and analyzed the freight volume and freight turnover over the years,and pointed out the deficiencies of the current transport structure.Then the energy consumption and carbon emissions in Sichuan province were analyzed,on the basis of searching and summarizing relevant research data,and the algorithm for calculating the quantity was obtained.After that,a model for analyzing carbon emission changes was established,and the main factors affecting the carbon emission changes in Sichuan Province were obtained.And then the freight turnover in Sichuan province in the planning year is predicted and used as the data source to calculate the freight turnover in the planning year.Meanwhile,this paper constructed a multi-objective optimization function,which was to minimize carbon emissions and to maximize transportation utility.What's more,the energy consumption and the development scale of each mode of transport were used as constraints,and the deviation index was used as inspection index,making its optimal solution could not only meet transportation needs brought by economic development,but also minimize the carbon emissions of transportation,thus providing feasible ideas and methods for the sustainable development of transportation system.Finally,according to the actual situation of Sichuan,this paper put forward the energy conservation and emission reduction measures for transportation department,so as to provide effective suggestions for the optimization of transportation structure in Sichuan province.
