With the increase of competition, the improvement of consumer awareness of "Green" and the deterioration of environmental conditions, the requirements of people on green supply chain management(GSCM)become higher and higher. However, the low-level green supply chain management of Chinese enterprises has become a real problem that plagues the government and enterprises. In order to encourage enterprises to actively implement green supply chain management and improve the management level of green supply chain management, most researchers turn their attention to the evaluation and driving of their exploration. The academic research on the status quo of green supply chain management practices has gradually begun, and with the progress of the times, the practice of enterprises is constantly developing.Aiming at the research of green supply chain management practices of leading companies,we can intuitively understand the current global green supply chain management level, and facilitate the understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of its own green supply chain management practices in Chinese enterprises.Further,by developing appropriate green supply chain management strategies, companies can improve environmental performance, operational performance and economic performance to achieve sustainable development. This study mainly addresses the following four questions: What are the measures taken by enterprises to implement green supply chain management practices? What is the difference between the practices in the industry? How much role does each link play in the entire supply chain? What are the differences and patterns of experience in conducting green supply chain management? We combine qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze the current state of green supply chain management for the world's leading companies.First,we use content analysis to pre-study corporate environmental practices, and combine the literature research and corporate disclosure of environmental information to derive the green supply chain management practice indicator system.Secondly, based on these indicators, the content analysis of environmental information disclosed by 154 companies in different industries is carried out,and the scale of green supply chain practice level is obtained. After quantitative analysis of the data in the scale, the first step is to test the differences in leading enterprise practices across industries by means of nonparametric tests. We find that in the manufacturing industry, the IT manufacturing and automotive industries are at the leading level in green supply chain management practice, while the overall practice level of the service industry is lower than that of the manufacturing industry, but the practice level of the telecommunications industry in the service industry is relatively high.In the second step,we find that internal and external environmental management, green procurement, green manufacturing and site contribute a lot to the manufacturing green supply chain management through factors, while internal and external environmental management is the best practice in the service industry. In the third step,we study the differences in green supply chain management practices of different types of enterprises through cluster analysis. We found six types of business practices. And the results of the chi-square analysis by the industry are significant, indicating that the differences in the types of firms have inherent industry attributes. This study explores the differences and causes of implementing green supply chain management practices in different industries and different types of enterprises, enriches the content of theoretical research in this field, and provides an improvement direction for improving the green supply chain management level of Chinese enterprises.
