With the development of the Internet and the sharing economy,the living environment of enterprises has undergone great changes because of fierce market competition.Enterprises not only need to cope with the changing situation,but also face the problem of subversive reconstruction of employment relationships caused by changes in work patterns.At the same time,employees must constantly acquire the characteristics,knowledge,skills and capabilities that the company values,to adapt to the changes in the form of the labor market and the adjustment of enterprises.When employees begin to pursue lifelong employability,it will urge the company to transform and reform human resource management practices.“How does the company balance the best between employee development and human resources?” This helps to keep the company growing.Therefore,human resource management practices focusing on employee development may become a solution to the problem.This article supports the work requirements-resource theory and social exchange theory.We surveyed 387 employees in 37 companies,used analysis software such as SPSS 22 and LISREL 8.8 to discuss the relationship between developmental human resource management and employee employability,and selected psychological security and voice behavior as mediator variables.Then,we built multiple mediation models and hope to be able to study the mechanism between developmental human resource management and employee employability.The results show that:(1)Developmental human resource management has significantly impact on employees' employability;(2)Psychological safety mediate the relationship between developmental human resource management and employees' employability;(3)Voice behavior mediate the relationship between developmental human resource management and employees' employability;(4)Psychological safety and voice behavior multiply mediate the relationship between developmental human resource management and employees' employability.This research has the following innovations:Firstly,developmental human resource management is a new concept in the field of human resource management research,so there are few related researches at home and abroad.This research systematically discusses the development of human resource management and employee employability which enriches some study about developmental human resource management.Secondly,this study innovatively incorporated psychological perception channels and behavioral channels.We examined the multiple mediating roles of psychological security and voice behavior between developmental human resource management and employee employability.It opened the box which can explains the relationship between developmental human resource management and employability.Finally,in a practical sense,this research can help business managers understand the path and mechanism between developmental human resource management and employee employability well.It provides sufficient reason and confidence for the company to promote the development and growth of its employees,so as to achieve a win-win situation for both the company and its employees.
